In their own words
Lindsay movers are the worse ...they stole $4000 in a locked box, stole more than 8 random boxes, damaged furniture, never put the furniture back together...one of the stolen boxes contained precious memories of my dead parents and daughter that can never be replaced...denied everything...i was robbed by them...i'll never get over this...they quoted me $5 a lb.
Quoted 3200 dollars for 1 ton of stuff, but it's one bedroom worth of stuff, a couch and 10 bins, of a total weight of less than 500 pounds. This place is a joke. Go elsewhere, these guys are bad at their job and are pricing high to take advantage of uneducated customers.
Mad Day, Sorry you were not satisfied with the quote we provided. We wish you good luck with your move.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
We used them for our move in Barrie at the end of May. They were on time, quick, efficient and did an amazing job. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a reliable company to move their home. Thanks again!
May 6, 2021 Lindsay Movers & Storage 10 STAR, count them ********** REVIEW We have to share our very positive experience with Lindsay Movers & Storage. We had a difficult move recently, difficult because we are older and needed to downsize from a rather large Victorian farmhouse, a 4000 sq. ft. workshop and a 2-1/2 acre property into a 1600 sq. ft. bungalow. So the move had to happen in two stages. First my shop machines, benches, shelving, equipment and inventory had to be moved to a storage locker in Guelph.
Thank you Gary for your kind words.
Moving is chaotic and stressful. You need someone who just takes care of getting all of your worldly stuff from A to B, intact, when you need it, at a reasonable price. You found them. Very friendly on-the-ground movers, who seem to care about doing their work as best as possible. Shaun, Steve, Ron and others still exhibit old-school service pride, no hidden fees or surprises on your already stressful day, managed by modern day efficiency. Highly recommended for anyone needing a move or storage.
Proud to support a "CHAMBER" business Moving is always stressful. If you are moving in the Lindsay or Peterborough area, look no further than Lindsay- Peterborough Movers and Storage . I've heard nothing but amazing things about their professionalism and care. They handled a massive move for a friend of mine . There was over 260 pieces . There was zero damage and even beat the original quote. Truly a higher standard of care!
