In their own words
I wish i could give less than 1 star. I thought they were good based on the reviews i saw, but they outsourced the work to some 3rd party movers who scuffed up and damaged EVERY piece of furniture without exaggeration. When i saw the truck at our destination it was clear why. They packed it with no sense of caring for any of the items. Everything haphazardly thrown on top of each other. Some damage was worse than others, but clearly negligence.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. This was, without question, one of the most stressful, frustrating, painful, and traumatic consumer experiences our family has ever endured. We hired Local Moving Experts after confirming the scope of work and agreeing to a total price of $460. We even paid a deposit in advance because we believed we were dealing with a professional, reputable moving company. Instead, the movers arrived over an hour late, immediately disrupting our carefully coordinated moving schedule.
The experience was not a great one. We were quoted a price for 3 hours and we were aware of additional cost per hour after. Carlos was our point of contact and he was professional and took care of our furniture. But they did not mention that they were sending someone along with carlos that did not know much of what to do during the process. Carlos was the only person handling the major pieces of furniture and he did most of it on his own while the other person just kept asking what he himself should do next.
I'm really interested to know how they received all these great reviews. I called for an appointment for a quote. I spoke with Randy (told me he was a sales rep) who I gave all my information to. He said I'd receive a text confirming the appointment and all relevant info. He never sent a text, never showed up, never called. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !

In their own words
Randy and his team were professional, courteous, prompt and efficient. Randy made sure to send a text the morning of the move to confirm his scheduled arrival. He and his team also stayed much longer than end of business to ensure that all items that were moved were also unpacked. I would definitely recommend this moving company.
Thank you, Natalie! We're glad Randy and the team made your move smooth and stress-free. We appreciate your recommendation! 🚛✨ …
