I would recommend to everyone reading this, that they avoid Lulu's Hauling Inc. During a two part move in 2019 where we moved from a house to and office and an apartment using them for both jobs a ~week apart, over $10k of items were stolen from our house with surgical precision... that Lulu's Hauling staff were the only individuals with knowledge of their location and the timing of our move.
Dear John, This is very disheartening to read 6 years after we last moved you. I’m sorry you feel our awesome workers are responsible for a burglary after we moved you, but that’s not the kind of people we believe we are. Occasionally a stressed-out client becomes suspicious of our movers.
Movers beware of Lulu's as they do not respond to issues/problems after they have left your property and have broken your Furniture. 4 months ago Lulu's Hauling moved my family a 1/2 mile in the North Bay. Yes, they showed up on time and …
Had LuLu's scheduled for today. Aside from reserving a move for a 3-bedroom house, the only other communication from LuLu's was my trying to call and email to find out if they were still coming after not hearing from them. Got a simple, "Absolutely. 9am". I should have been concerned that more questions or communication about the specific items to be moved were not asked. I will take responsibility for that....BUT how LuLu's handled the move day is really wrong (or failed move day).
Sorry it didn't work out with us and I hope you had a better experience with whoever ended up moving you. We were ready to work a 14hr day and come back the next day for anything we were unable to get in our very large truck but cannot work while being yelled at and called profanity..
Repeated Missing Valuables After Hiring This Company In 2021, I hired Lulu’s for a move within the same city. The drive between houses was less than 10 minutes. On the day of the move, my brother was at work. He had cash saved from his job inside his bedroom dresser drawer, mixed in with his clothes. It was not out in the open, not sitting on a counter. It was inside his personal dresser in his room. After the movers packed everything and left for the new house, they were gone for over an hour.

We moved when you asked . Most understanding compassionate neighbors who live in the Berkeley hills on a street a smart car can barely navigate will not be upset when they see another neighbors moving truck in front of a driveway.

Fabulous experience using this company. Scheduling through email was easy breezy. Dwight called me the night before to confirm/answer any questions which was much appreciated. Arrived promptly and worked HARD! I was so impressed both with the hustle and clear diligence in ensuring everything was well cared for. I had several flights of stairs for them to deal with and it was no issue. The whole time Dwight and Leo were absolutely doing an A+ job; it was incredible.

Lulu's came recommended by our realtor and they didn't disappoint. Their bid also was the lowest of several I solicited, and they guarantee to stay within 10% of the estimate. The move itself was very efficient, handled with great care, and stayed under budget. They even helped move some things around to make room in the new place and some items I ended up not needing back into my car. The team of Dwight, Carlos, Oscar and Sam was a pleasure to work with and I recommend them highly.
