Went to a factory tour. Nathan was a wonderful tour guide, personable and knowledgeable. He answered everyone's questions and showed us the whole process from receiving the Rock Maple Wood to a completed piano. Fascinating! Our group enjoyed a wonderful Piano recital at the end of the tour. The pianos sound amazing!!!!! Wonderful to see a company that cares about the quality of their product.

I once heard a highly respected Steinway rebuilder refer to Mason and Hamlin as overbuilt Steinways. My dad who worked with Steinway would talk with reverence about Stradivarius and Guenavarius. Touring the Mason factory reminds me of going back in time to watch the lutists making those cherished instruments. If I lived nearby I’d volunteer to work there in my retirement just to be around these beloved American instruments, the best ever made. Take the tour and/or buy one they are extraordinary instruments.

This was a great tour. I learned so much about pianos I almost feel as if I could build one myself. Nathan was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. The pianos represent a truly impressive melding of technology and craftsmanship. The woods and finishes are gorgeous, workmanship is impeccable and, at least to my ears, they sound fantastic.
