Bottom line: once McCarthy has your money and your items, they don't seem to care about the contract or about actually getting your things on a truck on time. If communication and follow-through matter to you in an interstate move, look elsewhere. Do not use McCarthy's Movers if you're counting on them to go to bat for you in an interstate move.

READ THOSE FINE LINES ..... rip off after the initial charges they also charge you to bring your stuff down to the floor just to pick it up I can see if your going in it all the time but if your coming one time to pick it up 45$ for them to bring it down and another 25$ for the guy to load it up in your truck for you that you didn’t ask for those fees should be applied with initial payment and you should tip the guy loaded it up for you this makes you not wanna tip just a total waste I would hire another company…

Extremely aggressive and unwelcome marketing tactics. At least 5 calls including 3 voicemails in the last 24h from multiple sales people. It’s overwhelming. I never reached out for a quote, they must have got my number from some list. Makes me want to definitely not use them even when I next have the need for movers. I can’t believe this approach works for them, how could anyone enjoy this.

Evelyn and David were nice but it’s the next day and the movers are at my place telling me they’re just movers and didn’t bring brown paper to cover the stuff that was not wrapped prior to the movers coming.

Hands down the best moving company we’ve ever used (we’ve used many.) We hired them for two separate moves within one month, and both experiences were seamless. Their team was communicative, detail-oriented, and incredibly professional. Everything felt effortless on our end. I didn’t have to think or worry at all.
