The rating breakdown
6 of the 28 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Michiana Movers are one or two star.
Worked out from 28 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.
Against other listings in Elkhart
9.1 percentage points higher than the middle of the 16 listings in Elkhart we can publish a rate for.

What the complaints say
Moving goes wrong in a small number of specific ways. These are the ones reviewers describe in the low-star reviews we have read for Michiana Movers, counted by matching the words they used.
- Damage to belongings1 · 100%
Counted across the 1 one and two star review we have read for Michiana Movers. A review can describe more than one problem, so these do not add to 100%. Each share is rounded on its own.
In their own words
We used them to move to our new house. Charged extra but did less work than what they quoted for. Did not move all our stuff and took longer than they should've. Did not take a good care of our furniture because some of them were scratched and few were broken. My advise would be not to get a quote over the phone.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

We are seniors moving to a new house. We needed movers to get our second floor furniture and heavier items onto a uhaul. Tim and Titus showed up on time and were very professional. They worked quickly and efficiently. They took great care with our items. We highly recommend this company.
Thank you for letting us move you into your new home.
Michiana Movers (or now I believe it's called Tri County Movers) did an absolute stunning job on my move. I was moving out of an abusive home and situation and they helped me out SO much and the prices beat EVERY SINGLE PLACE around! Plus, the movers are SO personable (and funny). They truly made me feel better and I had complete peace of mind. These guys are trustworthy and WILL get the job done to the very end! Thank you guys for being so amazing.
We appreciate you using us as your moving company.
If I could give them 10 stars I would. My wife and I were moving into a new house. They showed up on time and were extremely friendly. My wife wanted furniture moved a couple times to a better location in the home. No problem. They did so and were very thoughtful. I would highly recommend them based upon our personal experience!
Appreciate the review on your move.
i have a lot of stuff and AL showed up w/ his partner and they got everything done effortlessly! my washer and dryer arrived separately at the new house & they even offered to move them down to my basement. very grateful for all the extra help they provided. definitely recommend!
Thanks for allowing us to move your appliances and other items.
