Do NOT use Bekins movers. My family moved from Seattle to Irvine this Spring. We stored our furniture in their warehouse for nearly 4 months while we looked for a house here. When they unloaded at our new house they had their appliance hook up guy reconnected the washer and dryer. When we turned on our dryer it made a grinding sound that it had never done before. We also found other items damaged, in particular one or a kind glass and metal artwork as well as two carved buddha statues.
Received a quote today from this company (specifically Jon Warner) to move a 10 x 10 storage unit 100 miles - $3100. I laughed when I opened the quote, but replied in a very cordial manner. I said that $3100 to move a 10 x 10 storage unit was insanity and that we had gotten a quote for much less ($1000) that we were going to go with and thanked him for his time. He responded in a very rude and unprofessional manner, I was really taken off guard.

While Curt and Julie were great, the rest of our move was a complete disaster. 90% of the boxes showed up crushed, the items Bekins packed are missing essential components, (we have been sleeping on the floor waiting for this delivery, and now we can't even put our beds together.) There are footprints all over our crushed boxes, and it seems like it will be easier to claim what didn't break vs what did. Total disregard for our stuff.

Horrible experience, caused major property damage and stonewalled every step of the way! I want to warn anyone considering this company: do not hire them. What happened Short version: their crew ran over a section of our French drain, damaged trees on our property, left huge rutts in our driveway, and left glass where our kids play. We had already scheduled and paid to have the road/driveway paved, so their mistake directly impacted a major and expensive project.
I did not have any work done by Bekins Northwest (Move Northwest), but I wanted to share my experience. Today at approximately 3:10 p.m. on 21st St. NE in Lake Stevens, WA, a Bekins Northwest moving truck pulled into our alley while helping a new neighbor move in. At 5:26 p.m., my fiancé came home and sent me a picture showing their truck blocking both our driveway and the neighbor’s driveway across the alley. He spoke with one of the workers and explained that I would be home shortly.
