I'm really trying to understand how these guys got such a high rating and did such a bad job on my move. I'm really not a complainer, but they took 7 1/2 hours to move my 2 bedroom apartment 25 minutes down the road. I don't know if they were just having a bad day or if they treat all of their customers this way. They were complaining the whole time I had too much stuff. They stopped and talked alot. There were long pauses in between them moving stuff out and even longer pauses in between moving in.
We were moving from one apartment to another one 18 minutes apart. Talk to the owner of Ohana Moving and after going over everything, including the fact that the apartment had a long walk to the garage where the truck would be parked and the new apartment was on the second floor, even sent pictures of stuff to move, we were give an estimate of 2 hours minimum and assured no more than 4 hours. We paid the minimum knowing the rest would be due afterwards. The guys were 1 1/2 hours late to start.
Well, I have mixed feelings about writing this review. They quoted a very reasonable price, and, Initially, things went well. The movers were courteous and worked very hard while loading the truck. However, we had many mishaps during our move, the first being that the truck was too small for the load. We had to rent a uhaul for the rest, and the movers packed the truck so tightly that some furniture was damaged. Before making my final payment the owner, Ryan, tried to work with us to compensate for the problems.
Used this company twice, the first time was great and they were in and out super fast. Recently used their service again, and you’d think it was a completely different company. Worked extremely slow and would take 10-15 minutes to come back …

I am sorry that you feel this way. I scheduled your mother for her move on October 30th 2021 at 10:30 am. Upon scheduling your moms move I sent out a confirmation email to her email address which I have copies of outlining the time, date, and pricing of your mothers move.

The movers provided clear communication for costs before the project even started which was much appreciated. The day of the move they arrived exactly when they said they would and efficiently and expertly prepared and moved all the pieces we asked them to. They installed all the pieces exactly where they were directed to place them and without damage. They were professional, courteous, and skillful. I would utilize them again and highly recommend.
