On The Move Moving Company

Pretty horrible experience with this company and its owner Dustin. Dustin came out and inspected what we needed moved. He sent 3 movers on the day of the move - 1 was 16 and hungover and sat most of the day on our couch, 1 was obese, and the other was great. Took considerably longer than anticipated but we understood. One of our main pieces, a brother GTX printer which produces a majority of our income had to be moved with extreme care and not turned over due to the ink in the printer.

Be careful when moving with this company. I used them as a recommendation from my sister that had a pleasant experience with the 4 guys that moved her. I got a different set of 2 guys and they were very hostile and aggressive. I had luggage set aside that I was taking with me that I did not want to go on the truck and when I asked them to remove it from the truck before it got buried in the truck I was met with hostility and and cursing and yelling.

I had issues with this company from the beginning. First of all they showed up 2 and a half hours late, BUT in their response did not charge me the facility fee, which was acceptable. Now on the back end they showed up to my house on time but they forgot my couch, so I had to wait at my house for another 2 hours and they did not do anything due to the fact that they discounted on the front end. The reason they had to discount me was because they did something wrong.

I advise anyone who wants to move NOT to use this company. They aren't forward with what they charge and they take their time to move, THEY charge by the HOUR. So what should've been a 4 hour move took 6.5 hours and you had no choice but to pay them cuz they wanted to take their time. Took 2 hours to wrap and pack everything, and 4.5 to unload which is ridiculous. We even explained to the movers that their was an easier route to make the move easier on them cuz of the stairs and they advised against it.

REFUSE TO REPAIR DAMAGE TO EXTERIOR OF HSE WHEN HEAVY PIECE OF FURNITURE SLIPPED OFF THE HAND TRUNK AND BROKE SIDING. Update as of 1/27. I was on site and I did show photos, u never came out as u said u would I got a repair cost as you know of 380. Ur man had man had me sign papers in back if truck no walk thru. There was pictures that was sent. Your office did not send signed papers til mid January. Move was 1st of Dec. My 3rd quote was $380 . U offered to pay 100 of the 380. Dustin you had pictures.

Do Not use this company. We tried to purchase additional insurance and they stated that they had never had a claim and wouldn't write it up. They sent the wrong size truck, kept piling furniture in. Needless to say they destroyed our furniture. Brand New sectional sofa ruined, one of a kind cabinet broken, dining chairs crushed, bed broken, dresser legs broken, numerous boxes crushed and then were extremely rude and unprofessional when we were upset about the condition of our furniture.

I called to get a quote. They wanted me to list EVERY item I have to move. I asked for a clearer understanding and she said every item in each room in order to get a quote. Like what? You want to know how much clothes I have? I get you need an idea of my space but i'm not interested in doing all that to get an estimate. Then she hung up on me. Rude.

Many of my belongings were broken and shattered. At the price I was charged, things should have been ok. When they delivered to the storage unit things were thrown in, obviously. Now when i have got to my items, it is a disaster. Do not hire them. Your personal belongings will not be respected.
