Very Disappointing Experience I had a very bad experience with OC Moving and do not recommend this company. On January 20, they moved two units in the same complex, same floor, into two new apartments in new complex and same floor. They quoted 7–8 hours for $1,200–$1,300, but the move took 12 hours, and the final invoice with tips was over $2,000. They did not bring enough packing materials, which slowed everything down.
On the day of my move, I had suggested they walk my couch down the stairs because it’s never been able to fit in the elevator. Instead, they forced the brand new custom couch into the elevator (without my knowing), and ripped the corner of the furniture. Though, I find it especially rude that they never mentioned anything; I basically paid them for the damage they caused. Hopefully, they could learn to respect the belongings they’re being paid to move, and actually listen to directions.
Very happy with the service they provided. They were fast, and very careful with handling fragile stuff. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a moving service. Update: a few of our stuff went missing and after reporting the missing items, the company said that the movers looked into their truck and didn’t see anything. They said they can not do anything for us. Changing the review to 1 star.
This company is a scam. They quoted me a price. I agreed to it and gave them a $105 deposit. The next day they called me and said that they needed to charge me an extra $200 on top of the quote they already agreed too. I told them I wanted to cancel have them refund me my deposit. It has been 2 weeks and I still have not received my refund. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOVING COMPANY!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I scheduled this place WEEKS in advance to do my move & they call me the DAY OF to cancel it after I’ve already paid a deposit. I ask to speak to a manager and she tells me that is not possible.
Misleading prices, priced 139/hr for 3 movers and truck. Then proceeded to switch and bait saying that was for 2 movers. I explained the emails and confirmation, but the dude didn't care. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Moved from OC to LA. Easy to get a quote over the phone; prices fair and a little better than another competitor. Easy to schedule on the desired date. Had a scheduled delay by a few hours which they communicated to me several days prior. The arrival window was quite wide (12-5) and I guess they use other contracted movers because I got a phone call at the time of arrival instead of 30 minutes prior because they had just finished a job nearby.
