I was involved in an accident involving one of Ortega’s Moving & Delivery Service’s commercial box trucks while stopped at a red light on January 27, 2026. What followed was months of stress, transportation hardship, insurance complications, and inconsistent communication. After the accident, I was only provided an identification card for the driver involved rather than a valid driver’s license, and I was repeatedly told that a license would later be provided to me. To this day, I still have not received one.
Incompetent, rude and un trustworthy.. they pulled the old bait and switch on me. Then when I asked a few simple questions all of a sudden nobody speaks English. No thanks I’ll just go to a 4speed delivery service from now on
Pedro, our apologies for the experience. Ortega’s is now under new management with improved customer service interface and stringent vetting of our moving teams. Rest assured given another opportunity we’d confidently meet and exceed expectations in comparison to previous ownership and management

Highly recommend! The office team is responsive and flexible with scheduling. I had some furniture moved to a storage location, the team was on time, worked quickly and wrapped and protected my furniture throughout the move and experts in maximizing the space in my storage unit. I was very impressed!
I highly recommend Ortega’s. I hired them to move various items out of my store that was closing. There were multiple huge and heavy display shelves and racks, fragile display cases and spinners as well as various sized boxes and storage items. Their 26 foot truck was filled to the brim. They were efficient, fast, courteous, careful, kind and extremely professional. A week before the move, Juan came out to give me an estimate of how long it would take before the job started. His estimate was 100% accurate.
I’ve used Ortega Moving & Delivery Services for years, and there’s a reason I continue to rely on them, they are exceptional at what they do. Daniel Ortega and Brenda Ortega, who are part of the family behind the business, bring a level of care and pride that you don’t often see anymore. You can tell this is more than just a job to them, they truly care about the work they do and the people they are helping. Their father, who owns the business, should be very proud of them and the professionalism they bring to it.
FIRST CLASS MOVERS! I have used Ortega Movers locally many times since 2013 to deliver items purchased by numerous sellers when in Long Beach. I've been amazed and pleased at what they were able to move, ranging from extreme weights to highly delicate crystal and porcelain! They moved my household locally in 2022 to Orange County and the packers were meticulous, even teaching me how to pack well. All remained intact, very efficient. engaging and experienced!
