Qshark Moving Company

Worse moving company EVER. They were supposed to move us in two days, they took four days, and didn’t even show up on the third day. They were at least two hours late every time. They moved slow, took several smoke breaks, constantly on their phones. They were ex-cons/gang members handling our things. I only know this because one of them admitted to me he served time when I noticed his tattoos. This was about 3 months ago.

Update 1/20/21: After unpacking and sharing a document with all of the damaged and broken items from the move, Wes and the Qshark owner offered a significant sum to make things right by us and to cover some of the damages. This was in addition to the partial refund for the move. This demonstrated to me that QShark cares deeply about their customer's experience. I appreciate they did what they needed to make the situation right.

You get what you pay for. They broke the leg off our dresser and never called back about the insurance claim. I doubt they are even insured. Use at own risk...they did move our stuff and the price was as advertised so two stars seems fair.

I reached out to QShark Moving Company over yelp, after reading their amazing reviews. I'm really dissapointed to say it was not a 5-star experience, far from it. I was moving from one apartment (3rd floor) to a 3-story town-home (all floors ownd by us). They were approximately 10 miles apart, a 13 minute drive. My husband and I had managed to previously move our entire apartment from one 3rd-floor apartment to this old 3rd-floor apartment in about 3/4 hours including driving time.

I read some one star reviews from other customers who have had very similar experiences as our family had with QShark! They seem to be a shady company and I suspect fraudulant since I cannot pinpoint their business headquarters as they have several shady fake addresses and cannot be reached at them. Now I doubt if they even have a legit business license which can't be found when I did a deep search. I plan to take them to small claims court but Covid is causing a delay on that for now.

I won't be using this moving company again. The movers that showed up wasn't really that experience. It took them 3 hours to move everything form my 2 bedroom apartment to their truck. I had everything all packed and they just had to bring the stuff downstairs. They were working but they just weren't very skilled in the work so they weren't very efficient. When everything was finally packed and ready to go I left first to run some errands while they set off.

Updated review; someone will be physically bringing the check to compensate 400 dollars for the broken television tomorrow. If I could give less than a star I would. With moving companies we looked and looked and considered the groupon but instead of using it we decided to pay full price. Before even having the movers come we decided we would move more than half of the boxes down to our garage for ease for the movers since we live on the third floor.

A resident at our apartment complex used their services (we did not), but during their move, the employees of this company left tons of loose packing peanuts inside the hallways, outside the building door, and inside the building elevators. I do not typically leave bad reviews like this, but it was PILES of loose packing peanuts scattered across the floor and outside. We know it was this company because we witnessed them leaving these materials without cleaning up after themselves as we were walking to our car.
