I had a terrible experience with Peachtree Movers. They arrived with a rental truck at 9:40 a.m. because their own truck was out of service. That rental truck broke down in my driveway. The move stretched until 5:00 p.m., and the lift gate scraped up my driveway. I missed my mother’s 3:00 p.m. appointment because I couldn’t leave. When I asked the owner Jim about adjusting the payment after all the inconvenience, he was rude and dismissive.
Damaged the walls in our apartment to the point we lost our $500 safety deposit. Then moving into our brand new house, proceeded to then hit the walls of the house and damage those as well. After filling a claim with the company to have …

Zero Starts if I could, 3rd time using a moving company. This one was the worst! They didn't listen to where I needed things placed. He tried to say there was a difference between unloading and unpacking, I never asked them to unpack anything, just furniture in designated rooms. I wanted certain things in the basement. They literally just unloaded moving truck and put stuff wherever they felt like it. 1 item in basement the rest was left in my living room.

My move was only a few miles away so I though how bad could a move be? Lol They sent one less mover (3) than any other mover quotes (4) and said it was fine. I had them pack my things and could have used another packer/mover. They ask you which level of insurance you want, I just said don't break My stuff. " They don't give them scissors so they are just breaking/manhandling tape rips. The boxes were filled with no thought. When unpacking you'd find random things. Side table broken.

I have been trying to get reimbursement for my Rattan Ottoman pillow since moving in December 2024! I have called multiple times, sent emails with promises for reimbursement and still have not received anything. It's not that much money I have asked for..... The principle of the matter is that the company has not held to a standard of making something right that was their fault.
Hi Kei, a credit was issued back onto your credit card on 3/20/2025.
Not honest with their pricing. Said I would only pay for actuals but then charged me a different amount from the receipt I was provided the day of my move and haven’t been helpful in resolving the issue. Quality of the crew was mediocre - I got moved, but it was chaotic, and I didn’t love coming down to find my lamp sitting on the ground after it fell off the back of the truck, crew no where in sight. Overall, I’d look elsewhere.
