It took me a long time to decide whether to write this review, but even a year later I’m still shaken by the experience. During the move, my TV was damaged. More concerning, however, was how uncomfortable I was made to feel in my own home. I caught one of the movers taking photos inside my house. When I asked why, he responded by saying, “your house looks like shit,” which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
Terrible experience. They put a double dresser with mirror in front of a window. Anyone would know that you don’t block a window with a large piece of furniture! They also left sofa cushions at the other house and had the nerve to tell me to go get them. Also put a 9 x 11 rug in the wrong room. When moving furniture guys and rugs you should ask the owner where they should be placed. So I’m reading a lot of good reviews which tells me they take the bad ones down.
Worst experience of my life!! I used to love this place. I’ll never use it again. It has gone so down hill the last few years. I used to recommend them to everyone… never again!!!
We are very sorry to hear about this. If there was a problem with the move you could have called the office. After the job was completed, you tipped the guys generously. The job was completed in the time and price that was quoted.

I really appreciated how quickly Pete got back to me with [the most] reasonable quote in this general area. I called him back in two days and we scheduled my move for the following weekend. The team of guys that came to my storage unit and later new place were on time, professional, quick and very business-oriented. They were also well organized in their process of packing their truck and the small teams they worked in.
Had them move a bedroom set and they were quick, friendly and careful. We have used them before and always a good experience. Workers inside removed shoes and handed furniture to guys outside to carry to my garage.
Today was our third time using Pete’s Moving and they were amazing! They are fast, efficient, and extremely respectful of your home and belongings. They pay close attention to detail, and we are so appreciative of the care they’ve taken when handling our belongings. Despite all the shuffling around we’ve done, they have managed to keep our furniture in full tact; not a single scratch, dent, or tear in anything. Their prices beat the competitors’ every time and we recommend them to everyone!
I needed a heavy ‘lift’ chair moved and reached out to Pete’s Moving after hours, so left a message. Pete got back to me that night and arranged to move my chair the very next day. An entire team showed up (they had come from a bigger move) and every one of those guys was great. They were polite, efficient and a pleasure to work with. Thank you!!!
