Last week I called the 3 largest moving Companies in the Metro. We're moving to Sarasota at the end of next month, and wanted a reputable company to work with for such a large move. Yesterday, a competitor came through and did a quick and professional estimate. He was on time and polite. Today I had an appointment with Desiree at noon. This appointment was scheduled over 2 days ago at a time that they offered for the appointment.
My mother needed help moving, and asked Piepho to help move belongings to her new house. During the move, one of the movers, an older man, was yelling absurdities and swearing constantly, and was being so insulting and offensive that he …
Hi Karim, We are very sorry to hear about your mother's experience. We reviewed your concerns with our crew. Apparently, one of the crew member's hurt his hand, and he used inappropriate language. That is certainly not appropriate, and we have addressed it with that person.
Should have been a 2 day pack job and 1 load. Tried to do it in 2 days total. Inventory was terrible packing was terrible. I will lose a few thousand dollars because if them

Elizabeth Piepho = poor customer service and the pricing is high, in 20 minutes after I got off phone the I secured a moving company at a lower price.
Hi Oscar, We're sorry to hear this feedback. It doesn't look like we provided a price; however, we wish you the best of luck with your move.

The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
I was trying to set up a move from a storage unit in WI to CO, and came across Piepho. This move was EXCELLENT. Everything was explained up front, no suprises. They kept me informed and make contact regularly prior to to see if changes were needed. The crews on both sides of the move were fast, efficient, courteous, and very careful. They even had barcodes to make sure an accurate inventory. I cannot recommend this team enough. Outstanding!
Thank you, Dan! We're glad to hear that your move went so smoothly and that our team kept you informed throughout the process. Your recommendation means a lot to us!
I used Piepho for several moves over more than 30 years, including one from Canada to the US, and several that were interstate in the US. They’ve been prompt, trustworthy, and very careful about packing and moving our stuff - more than I would have been. They show up when they say they will at both ends of a move. I also find their rates competitive, and a bargain when you factor in the service they provide. I will move with no-one else.
Thank you, Rajah! We're happy to hear that you've had so many positive experiences with our team over the years. We really appreciate all the kind words!
Good movers. No issues of any kind. Great price for local moves. Way under the competition. Would use again and would recommend.
Hi John - Thanks so much for the review. We really appreciate your recommendation. We look forward to helping you in the future! - Piepho Moving & Storage
Piepho was by the BEST moving company I've ever had!! I was so impressed with them! The guys that did the actual move which was about 250 miles!! They helped me so much and I dont have enough great words to say it..but they were so caring, polite, helpful they were amazing!! They helped me with so many things bc I was by myself and my son just left for the Marine Corp! These two guys were the best! I would 100% recommend them and they went above and beyond! Also EVERYTHING was intact nothing broke or ruined!!
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're so glad to hear that our team made your move a positive experience, especially during such a significant time.
