Horrible! Will cancel on you at the last minute, make up lies! Very unprofessional. No wonder the rates are so low you get what you pay for NOTHING!
If I could give zero stars I would. I booked their service through U-Haul. When I contacted the day before my scheduled move to confirm logistics, I was told they would not be fulfilling my booking unless I agreed to another person for labor and paid the difference. I was told 2 movers for 5 hours was not something they would do. I explained that I was moving approximately 45 minutes from location to location and that was the reason for the extended time frame. I was told they also do not do this.
As others have mentioned….i booked them through U-Haul and the day before the call, they asked me the size of the truck I was using. Then began to tell me that I needed to add more hours and people. It’s definitely an extortion scheme. They hope you’re desperate enough to just pay whatever at the time at the guise of “our rates are cheap”…..then raise them? Let the consumer decide. Don’t try to ambush them at the last minute. Do better business.
I ordered a local move through U-Haul's Moving Help from KCMO to Raytown, which for some reasonthet informed me over the phone cost me an extra $60, though that was not disclosed anywhere in writing prior to me ordering the move. Strike …

Jay was very helpful when I called to make the reservation. He asked a lot of questions to gauge what kind of help I would need. He was very thorough. The day of the move his crew showed up on time. They were friendly and very respectful. The crew were very careful with my things. I reserved them for 3 hours and they finished right on time. I recommend them for any size job you may have. I will be using their services again!! Job well done!
I can not say enough amazing things about my experience! I had utilized U-Haul movers for loading & unloading and after the loading took longer than anticipated with a different company, they called me on the way to the unloading location and cancelled on me.
