The crews were very nice and showed up on time etc, however there is quite a bit of damage to my furniture. All movers I’ve used in the past wrapped nearly everything in in blankets before moving it. The guys didn’t do that, I chose not to question it as they were doing it as they had great reviews, but now regret it. They moved us from one house to another but had to put everything into a finished basement for a few weeks while work was done.

The worst moving experience ever, explained as follows. I contracted with Perferred Movers of Merrimac, MA because they seemed nice and reviews were respectable. However, it all changed on the night before the move. On Sunday night at approximately 9pm, the night BEFORE the move I received a text from someone who, when asked who they were did not disclose their identity proceeded to ask me if (and this is AFTER receiving a formal quote from the company) if I needed pictures to be moved tomorrow morning, the day of…
Horrid. Pat was supposed to be there and left kids to move my things. Notations were made, saying all of my furniture was very worn and scratched. Huge damage upon delivery. No communication after. Lies! And yes....my things thrown down stairs, left on the street. Horrid. Leg broken off this piece and hidden.

Horrible experience. The owner, Pat, came and thoroughly inspected our home before giving us a price. He told us in writing that the price would be $7,00.00, which we paid him in cash. He said it would take 3 trucks. …
Quoted me $1,490.00 to deliver and install a refrigerator……..three times what the appliance dealer estimated it would be. RIDICULOUS ! ! !

Great experience overall! The guys took amazing care of our items and they were very pleasant to work with. They made our moving day much more pleasant. My only complaint is that the quote we received wasn’t accurate for the amount of time needed for our move. The high quality experience was worth it, but I would have preferred to have a more accurate cost upfront.
