In their own words
The moving team itself was good but they damaged our goods. The major issue was the manager/owner. Has absolutely no idea how to run a business. First he wants to replace our dresser he damaged with one that was half the size and in his own words, “it was cheaper than restoring it”. YOU broke it so YOU will pay for it. We asked for our original dresser to be returned as we will just restore it ourselves and it comes back spray painted like an infant did it.
While the movers were efficient and professional, I informed them mid move that they were taking stolen items, as well as informing the company itself know they were in possession of items my housemate had stolen from me and they refused to do anything.
I LOVED MY MOVERS. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND AMAZING. Management however I find to be unprofessional, inconsiderate and unbecoming.
Inconsiderate. I live in a condo style multi family complex. The moving company pulled right up to the front steps, on the sidewalk and used the side door with bridge to move in the neighbors. I almost fell coming home as I could not get into the building.if I could insert a picture I would. Then when I had to leave with my 3 small children: 4yo, 2yo and 5 month we couldn't get out of the building. If I was able to get out we would be walking around a large truck, with a blind spot, into a busy road.
Horrible. Ruined our furniture, the owner laughs at you when you have a problem, they scratched and dented our dresser, brought a smaller different one back and then when we asked for the original they brought it back spray painted and splotchy. If you want a disaster moving company to come destroy your furniture then hire me I’ll come do it for free.
BUYER BEWARE!! We just had the worst moving experience with these guys. Ours was a large out of state move. We had several family heirlooms and antiques that suffered …

What customer service! From the scheduling call, to the responsiveness and flexibility, to the efficient yet careful, skilled yet friendly movers. We used these folks twice. Once to move a piano for a very reasonable rate. And another time to bring a mattress up to a third floor, where it had to be pulled in a window, also for a very fair rate. I just cannot recommend Kamaul and his team highly enough.

Impeccable would be the closest word I could use to describe Rich and Joseph from Rare moving company. Rich was a mastermind in succinctly fitting all of our live’s contents in a seemingly small steel box. Joseph was unbelievably kind, diligent and thoughtful behind the entire process and really brought a lightness to a somewhat stressful day. Both worked unrelentingly in a wicked hot Boston summer day, and we’re extremely grateful for all their help. We can’t thank them enough. BOOK RARE MOVING NOW!
