Absolutely terrible experience with Rigo Moving and Storage. I was initially quoted $300, but without any real justification or my approval, the price suddenly jumped to $650. To make matters worse, they essentially held my belongings hostage until I paid the inflated amount, which felt completely unethical and unacceptable. On top of that, I was supposed to receive a $150 refund that I never got, despite following up. And my couch, which was in good condition before the move, is now damaged.

Bad experience. The office staff are dishonest. The crew was several hours late to arrive, the office staff kept lying about that rather than just being honest (at one point the office staff lied and said the movers finally arrived, about 2 hours late, so I walked up and down the apartment complex looking for them for 20+ minutes. The truth was that they were still in a town 40 minutes away completing another move). So they wasted our time and made a stressful day even more stressful.

This company was referred through iMoving.com. 1) Rigos did not complete the move. They filled the truck, then charged extra for "repacking" to attempt to finish packing, but then left without moving the entire household; 2) Several pieces of wood furniture were damaged beyond repair, including a teak cabinet, 2 other cabinets with casters torn off, broken glass on a framed picture (which they had packed), other pieces of broken household items, and multiple scuffed or gouged wood furniture.

They started great! I was ready to give them 5 stars, but the ending has been so purely bad.. So they got to my bed, and first they broke a slat bringing it into the house from the truck. Then the movers decided to not disassemble it before bringing it up the stairs. They banged my walls quite a bit before realizing they'd need to disassemble it anyways. So they did, but when they put it back together they used power tools.

Please don’t book with these ppl they are scammers and try to charge you for the smallest things my move with safe bound was contact to them which I was already mad about because I didn’t want a contract move they tried to charge me for packing material trying to charge an extra $3,000 these ppl are scammers and if your move is contracted through them cancel taking smoke breaks chilling no one spiked the first 2 hours

They lost totes, suitcases, floor lamps, office chairs, parts of a bed frame and our claim was denied. The delivery people even went in and took my husband’s backpack, brand new drill and computer during the delivery and they played the “no English” game.

I found out about Rigos from multiple postive reviews and decided to try them out for my most recent move this month. This move included 2 movers Javier and Juan who were absolutely amazing. I have a 1 bedroom but did have a lot of heavy furniture for example my glass table that is custom cut and cannot be replaced. With this sensitive piece of furniture they double wrapped it and had no problem getting it down the stairs and then to my new home. They worked FAST!

I have used Rigos twice and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again. Everyone is very nice. The reservation process is very helpful and courteous. The guys show up on time and get right to work. Worth every penny.
