In their own words
The estimator sold me on using Rose Moving by promising that there would be no added charges. At the end my belongings were held hostage. I had to pay an additional $1600 or my possessions would not be unloaded from the truck. The crew unloading would not follow my instructions. Boxes were piled many high and deep in front of shelves and cupboards so I couldn't unload boxes into where the items would go. Once I paid the extra money it's like the company no longer existed.
Very bad experience. I paid $80 for a table and was told to leave after 2 hours because “other customers are coming.” The staff was rude and disrespectful. I paid full price and was not treated fairly. Not recommended at all.
Absolutely awful experience with these guys. One lie after the next on our quote. You tell them what you need, they send you a quote and then halfway through the move they'll change it on you and say 'that wasn't part of what we quoted' even though it's exactly what you told them you needed. Our initial quote went from ~$8k to ~$15k. DO NOT USE THEM.

These guys are very professional and work fast and efficiently. Everything was planned out well and the communication was top notch. They honestly went above my expectations by helping me to move some extra things I hadn't even planned on asking them to do. Certain items they were able to disassemble and reassemble in my new place which was also very nice. All in all I would go to them again if I needed a move as they did a great job and seemed to be a nice group of people to work with.

Hired Roses Moving and Storage (Allied Van Lines) to move 10,000 pounds of household goods in November of 2021 from Ann Arbor, MI to Atlanta, GA. I couldn't be happier. The movers were quick, polite, and respected my belongings/home. The estimate was perfect. The driver was kind and went above and beyond. Before moving, I got three quotes. I did NOT hire the OTHER companies because I was asked: How many stairs? What is the distance from the truck to the door? Allied did NOT ask these questions.
We were happy with the service Rose Moving & Storage (Allied Van Lines) provided. The move went just as Gabe, our initial contact, described it. The coordinator, Judy, was responsive to calls and emails and the movers and packers on both ends were on-time, respectful of my elderly mother and very professional. We high recommend them.
