Although I was very pleased with the care in packing my furniture for the move, I was shocked and stunned with the final bill!! My estimate was 1800.00 (verified by both owners) on two occations (visits and inventory) prior to the move date...then after completed, I was charged 2700.00! We were very gracious in supplying lunch on both days for the crew, tipping and also willing to compromise on the final bill. Instead ....I was sent documentation of a higher fee of what they could have charged?!!!
First time using a moving company. The price was more then triple as the estimated moving cost. Movers packaged an expensive bike that I requested them not to touch moments earlier. The movers took a long time to wrap items that were not breakable. It was never explained that connecting appliances would cost a ton in time but may never get connected. We carried boxes to truck and off of truck the entire time.
The 3rd time now their moving trucked pulled out in front of me. Wouldn't be surprised if someone's housing items were damaged on the inside by how abrasive they were driving. I called the number on truck to inform them and was pretty much …
If I could give negative stars I would! Horrible moving company!! Almost an hour late because they didn't have the staff, then they show up with two younger guys and one guy who was barley able to walk...dropped several pieces of furniture and only offered $50 off the move rate...horrible experience!
My washer was damaged during the move. The gentleman told me he would order the parts and has dodged me sense then. It has been two months and my brand new washer looks like an old piece of junk.

Had a great experience with this company. They showed up on time, they very polite and did an awesome job. They were able to move my hot tub very carefully and didn’t cause any damage. I would recommend!
GREAT EXPERIENCE!! I called to get them scheduled and they gave me a quote over the phone. Helen was very friendly and very accommodating, we went through the details to make sure I got the best help possible. She called the day before to confirm which put my mind at ease. The men that done the moving were amazing!!! I showed them everything and they went to work, never stopping!
Byers moving did an excellent job. They moved us 50 miles away into our new home. Paxton and his team were punctual and hard working, and didn't complain about moving complicated appliances and bulky and/or absurdly heavy furniture. I would recommend them without hesitation. I hope I don't need to move again for a long time, but if I do, Byers will be the team I call!
Byers Moving is truly the BEST in the business! Our family moved fairly often until dad retired, and the Byers have moved us every time over these last 50+ years, and now have helped make post-retirement moves for both dad and myself. They are extremely professional and careful and make moving as painless as possible! I would HIGHLY recommend them for packing and moving; you'll truly find no better movers and no better price than Byers!!
