Scotty's Self-Storage Windsor Road

Scotty’s Self Storage in southwest Champaign was an excellent choice for our storage needs. The drive-through design is incredibly convenient, especially during bad weather, and access to the units is easy and efficient. One of the standout features is the rapid-opening and closing doors, which make loading and unloading quick and hassle-free. The complimentary use of a truck was also particularly helpful and saved us both time and money during our move.

They were very communicative and explained to me how everything worked prior to my first day renting. With there being multiple locks to get through before accessing a unit, I feel my items are secure here. I was also concerned about moisture and mold when it came to finding a storage unit, so the indoor and temperature controlled units provided such peace of mind. The car bays you can pull into to unload were extremely helpful, plus large, heavy duty carts are available to use and are parked at every entrance.

This storage unit is wonderful. Very clean, very secure, has a lot of options, app based access, and a great value. The ability to use their moving van, which is brand new, was a huge help! The manager, John Garth, was in contact with us right away to see what he could do to make our experience the best possible. He even came in on the weekend so we could have access to the moving van. Have already recommended this facility to family and would recommend to anyone.

John was a delight! Professional, courteous, and listened to my needs as we were looking for a unit. He suggested multiple options, and when I thought I found the unit for me, he suggested a better option and was happy to make the paperwork transfer after I had paid for the first unit. He also spent time with me showing me how the phone activated lock works, and toured the structure with me so I would know where the bathrooms are.
