My experience with Simple Moving was extremely disappointing and stressful from beginning to end. The pickup was delayed without any clear explanation, and getting updates on the status of my shipment was frustrating because communication was inconsistent. When my belongings finally arrived, several boxes were damaged, and some furniture had noticeable scratches and dents that weren't there before the move.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I paid $1,102.50 on April 29th for a moving service that never took place, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, I still have not received a refund. From the beginning, communication was poor. My moving date was not confirmed until the day before the move, and then the company attempted to change the date after I had already made arrangements and planned my entire relocation around the original schedule.

You know what’s crazy? It’s been like a year since I requested this company to move my stuff for me and I still remember they did me so dirty. I mean just look at the bill of landing. They couldn’t even use a proper pen to fill it out LOL it took them over a month to deliver my stuff to me and promised me to delivered by the time I got to my new apartment. Mind you, I schedule this move a month ahead of time. So for three weeks, I slept on the floor.
Do NOT hire this company. I was ghosted after the 21 business day delivery window and still have not heard from anyone. I have no idea where my stuff is and if it is even coming. No one will return phone calls, there’s no customer service because you can’t get ahold of someone.

I recently used Simple Moving for a long-distance move from Chicago to Raleigh, NC, and overall it was a really solid experience. Sean, the sales guy, was very clear from the get-go, which helped the process tremendously and made everything feel straightforward from the start. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and took extra care wrapping all my furniture with blankets and plastic. I was especially worried about a few fragile items, but everything arrived in great condition.
