The worst movers I’ve ever used, and I’ve moved a lot. Sky Van Lines moved me from Las Vegas to Portland OR. They picked up on Dec. 28, 2020 and my first available move-in date was Feb. 2, 2021. They included a month of storage in the original estimate and then charged me an additional $272 to store my belongings from Jan. 28 to Feb. 2. That’s $54/day. Tobias Rivera, the customer service representative told me a shuttle in Portland, if required, would cost $520. One was not required.

I was planning my first cross country move and I did quite a bit of research on moving companies prior to making a decision. Sky Van Lines had excellent customer service, great reviews, excellent prices.. everything to make me very secure in my move. Initially, I opted for a partial pack and move with insurance, after a couple of days of thinking about it, I called back and requested a full pack and move with insurance. Tobias was my representative and was very willing to help.

We moved cross country in July. They packed and held our stuff in storage for three weeks. After some broken promises, we requested our stuff to be delivered asap back in mid-August for September. We’ve moved three times, have officially …

April of 2024, Sky Van Lines moved my belonging from Las Vegas to Texas. They said all the right things for me to go with them. However, once I received my belongings in Texas, there was a lot of breakage. Furniture they packed along with boxes I packed were damaged. The boxes I packed could only have been damaged by throwing the boxes as they were packed extremely well. After filing a claim with Sky Van Lines for damages, it took them until December to send me a check which did not cover the damages at all.

,This place is an absolute joke! They charged my Mom $3000 to move her belongings from Las Vegas to Phoenix AZ. My Mom had boxes and a couple of dressers. She didn't have any couches, no dining room table and chairs and no bed. She had a 1 bedroom apartment. And they charged her $3000! And that isn't counting the $175 a month I've been paying to keep her stuff in storage until we had a place to bring her things. I've been paying her storage fee since August 2021.

Worst company ever! I don’t understand all these great reviews my experience with Sky Van Lines has been very stressful at least for an out of state move. Our move out day was March 22, the guys that came to pick up our stuff we’re great and very professional. Our first available date for delivery was April 1st we were always told it could take from 3-21 days which was understandable. That is just for the truck to get dispatched after it leaves it can take another 5-8 days.

My issue with this company is the lack of accountability. Yes, it took several calls and contact with the owner to have our items delivered across the country after 4 weeks. But the larger problem was that only one driver arrived. The remainder of the "crew" did not show up and my husband had to help with unloading the larger items off the truck, that absolutely could NOT be handled by one person, not even with a dolly. The unload ended up taking about 4-1/2 hours.

Thank you for a very good moving experience. We found this company to be very responsive before the move, happy to answer questions and returning calls promptly. We had 2 trucks picking up in Las Vegas and delivering to Las Vegas to California. Both crews arrived on time, were very efficient and polite. Everything was wrapped well to keep it safe and unwrapped on delivery. I am happy to recommend this company.
