I had used them multiple times before. This weekend they moved my girlfriend’s stuff. Smart Penny Movers mispriced the bill related to a pre-agreed to cash discount. We paid $600 generously in cash and tips on moving day based on the price we were told and now they won’t refund the down payment as was the agreement. Not to mention them stopping for lunch after a few hours and the truck in transit. We feel ripped off and they don’t seem to care. At least two lost customers today

The first time we used Smart Penny 3 years ago, they did a great job. However, this time although they were efficient, they did not put our bed together correctly (it now is uneven on one side). In addition they broke another piece of furniture, half-heartedly wood glued it, and did not inform us of the damage. We found it ourselves after they left. We will not be recommending them or using them in the future.

I ended up having to cancel my move with smart penny and they had the audacity to try charging me $800 just to cancel. Watch out for this place they’ll try some shady stuff to shake you down.

Absolutely Outstanding Moving Company! I had such a great experience with this moving company! They were recommended to me by a friend, and from the moment I reached out online, their communication and customer service were excellent. I especially appreciated the detailed quote, which made it very clear what to expect with pricing—no surprises. The moving crew, Estuardo and his two helpers, were amazing. They were professional, polite, and courteous throughout the entire move.
Our family was very happy with the service provided with our interstate move. Samuel communicated with us throughout the move. He was timely at the pick-up point and at the final destination. He also worked efficiently when moving our household goods at pick-up and delivery. We would use this business again for future moves.

Timely and diligent and careful efforts from Guiellermo, Walter and Melvin, nice crew and easy to work with. Would use these folks again if I ever have to move again (please I hope no more moves in this lifetime!)
