I would give zero stars if I could. We are a military family and have moved 6 times in the last 10 years. I've never seen anything like this. No furniture reassembled because so many parts are missing. Boxes just dumped out instead of unpacked. Movers left because they wanted to go to the gym after we told them the job was not complete. I don't have enough they time to make a claim for all of the lost and damaged items, including a lost firearm. Our personal belongings are in complete disarray.
My service was signed contract with Socal Moving, but it was actually moved by National Van Lane - and I was not so impressed by the moving service. 1. They provided a 10 day window of delivery at the first hand - it makes planning difficult within such a wide range. 2. They was late for 3 days even after the last day of the delivery window - and the worst is that SoCal's custum service have to call National Van Lane for updates, and from National Van Lane's custom service, they seems so not care about being late…
Horrible service. They broke and damaged so many pieces of ours and then would not reply to emails. They replied to the first two emails and then when it came time to pay for the damage nothing. My move was on June 4, it is August 3 and I had to call them today to talk to someone. Here are just a few photos of the damage and the way they packed our stuff. Then today, they tried to tell me it was fault for the collapse of the boxes because I didn't have furniture. I had plenty of furniture.
Hi Valerie. We are truly sorry that you had such poor service from a moving company. We have searched our books and our claims and found that we have not done business with anyone with your name or a similar name.
Do not hire this company!!! The movers STEAL!!!! We are a military family and had this company move our belongings during our PCS move. Well we moved in and later to find out once we started unpacking and noticed multiple belongings missing. Including bags, clothes, shoes, some of our grilling appliances and home decor. Not only that our movers at both move in and move out destinations were yelling and bickering at eachother the whole time and we had our kids there listening.
HORRIBLE!!! words can’t even describe how horrible this company is!! They broke items and then taped the items back together, they threw kitchen ware with clothes, I could go on and on. The worse part of it all, they came with a truck to small for my HHGs and I watched them trying to kick the last item in (my mattress) when it didn’t fit they strapped it to the back of the truck mind you this move was across the entire country!!
These guys showed up knocking on my apartment at 8 in the morning. Never requested for their services. Check to make sure you have the correct apartment number before knocking on someone's door!

Very communicative and friendly. I worked with Tom and Jeanine, and they fit me in on short notice. The driver Michael was on time with pick up and delivery. All of my things arrived safely, and nothing broke during the cross country move. The smoothest move I've ever done, and I've moved quite a lot.

I essentially moved twice since my new house was not available when my original house sold. I called Southern Cal Moving & Storage and got help. They sent three men to pack up everything. All of my furniture was wrapped in moving blankets and placed in the truck to be moved to their storage center. Three weeks later a crew arrived at my new house and unloaded everything. All of my furniture that was taken apart was put back together. I also had them unpack all of the boxes in the den, kitchen, bedroom, and garage.

I just had to share my experience with Southern Cal Moving & Storage! We used them to store our household items, and it was an awesome choice. The storage facility is clean and well-maintained, and I really appreciated how secure it felt. They provided all the info I needed about accessing our stuff whenever we wanted, which was super helpful. Throughout the process, their communication was spot-on.
