I had my stuff packed and stored by Suddath. When I went back to retrieve my belongings nothing was well packed. A lot of my fragile stuff was broken and I am missing a necklace. When I tried to communicate with them I received very unclear …

We hired Suddath United for our move to Western NY from SW Florida. The 3 guys they sent to pack for us called us 15 minutes before the end of their arrival time window to advise they had a flat and would be late. They were supposed to arrive between 9am-10am and showed up at almost 1pm. Stuff happens, I get it. What I don't get is the fact that because they were so late they wanted to make up the time by doing the worst packing job I have ever seen (and had the audacity to charge us over $12k for).
The service and overall experience were worth zero stars. The driver was unorganized, despite taking many hours to complete inventory upon pick up. He brought his children with him to help pack and load, but we paid extra for additional, experienced, employees to help. The driver forgot 2 large pieces of furniture at the main truck, parked an hour away, but thankfully I noticed these missing and he retrieved.

If you've ever had a military move, you know how stressful it can be, but Larry, Tykiah, and Shawn from Suddath in St. Petersburg made this the absolute best moving experience we’ve ever had. Living on the third floor is no easy task, but this crew was incredibly fast, efficient, and careful. We just did a military move with Steve. As a matter of fact our property is on the road as we speak. I’d like to tell you about my experience with Steve and just to save time. I will tell you right away. The guy is solid. he is absolutely an outstanding person and company who are 100% professional as well as friendly. Steve introduced himself and walked me through the whole process from beginning to end. He gave me tips that would’ve otherwise cost me a lot of money and took care of me as if I was a family member.

This review is for phase 1 (coordination and furniture pickup) of my interstate move. Summed up in a word...fantastic!! My move coordinator, Caroline, is a consummate pro who has kept me well informed throughout the entire process. My movers, Annie, Larry and Patrick, were efficient, professional and very friendly (despite having to do my move early on a Saturday). I can't speak highly enough of my experience working with this entire group. I definitely feel as though I made a wise "move" by hiring Suddath!
