10/10/22 Unfortunately this was the second worst move I've ever experienced. Terry himself was courteous (at first) on the phone while booking this move but after we came to Laguna and I discovered all the broken items his tone changed. I had been told that this was going to be my best move ever and boy oh boy... That was not the situation. When I arrived in Laguna I discovered that a number of items had been broken and none of the employees thought to tell me about it. (Is that a company policy?

TL;DR - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I was naive, didn't know what to expect and your experience might be different, but mine was awful, strongly recommend avoiding this company in particular and movers in general. A 3 mile move of a 2 bedroom apartment across town cost $1500. Over the phone I was quoted 3 guys for 3 hours at $195/hour. I paid them $950 or something close to that off the top. During that call I said, I've never hired movers before. Nobody explained how it worked, gave advice or was decent about it.

Some of the movers tried to fight me or were acting like they earned to punch me. Why? Because I had a simple complaint. You're on the community walk way, move over. As I mentioned this, the taller black guy with dreads and the skinny white guy made mocking noises as I walked away. Very unprofitable. When I explained my problem they did this stupid thing where they both said "WHAT I CANT HEAR YOU" when I was being pretty clear.

Mark Terry very rude person with a very foul mouth over the phone... probably not like that in person but very rude over the phone. Called to retreive information regarding his business and he begun cursing and name calling, very racial comments. Horrible person not the way to conduct business with a large company like us. I do not recommend this company to any customer and will also be reporting him to the bbb.

****BEWARE**** This guys is way more expensive then his competitors. I called for a local move and he wanted to charge me $150.00 just for fuel ! The other moving companies in his area charged $50 not to mention his hourly rates are a lot higher as well!
I think there is some confusion here. The $150 includes a truck and the fuel. The truck comes fully equipped with 100 moving blankets, shrink wrap, wardrobe boxes,dollies and all the straps/tie downs you will need. Plus of course it fully fueled.

We had a local move in California from a condo in Irvine/Tustin area to an apartment 30 minutes north and our realtor had recommended this company. We got off to a later start due to scheduling an afternoon move and having to wait for the morning jobs to finish first but Mark Terry personally maintained communication with me through phone calls and texts which was not expected but truly appreciated as a customer. He was a man of his word and made sure our move was completed despite the delays.

We used Terry's moving and storage for our move from California to Arizona. Working with Mark Terry took all the stress out of moving. He gave us a reasonable rate and stuck to the quote. We were impressed by the profressional and polite moving staff. They showed up on time and completed the job timely. Our pocessions were delivered packaged for safety. Thank you to Mark and his staff Juan, Kenny, Salvador, Julian, Aaron, Ruia, and Simon. Best staff ever. We highly recommend this Moving Team.
I cannot recommend Juan and Chuy highly enough. They were absolute lifesavers during my move. This was supposed to be a partial pack and move, but it turned into one of those days where every possible obstacle seemed to pop up. We had to pick up a massive cabinet from a second location, only to discover the road was closed for construction, requiring a huge detour with the moving truck. Throughout it all, Juan and Chuy remained calm, positive, professional, and solution-oriented.

Huge shout-out to the incredible crew from Terry Moving and Storage! Yesterday they loaded up our entire two-story house, and they were absolutely amazing. They were professional, efficient, hardworking, and treated our belongings with great care from start to finish.
