I really wish I could give 0 stars. Jessica the manager is wonderful. Maggie with repairs. Great. The general manager whoever that is? Terrible. I purchased chairs a year ago or so and have had problems ever since. I bought 2 swivel electronic rocking chairs. They kept breaking at the base. Then the mechanic part had to be messed with (the buttons) finally it got to the point where they agreed to swap out the chairs and instead we got the manual.

Buyer Beware!! We Purchased what appeared to be a gorgeous TV console based off what was in the show room. (See pictures below it should be the brownish color). Color matched our current furniture based on what was in the showroom. We waited 4 months when it was delivered, in a box, the delivery guy didn’t even open it for us. Had he done so we would have immediately returned it. As we opened the box it was the wrong color. What we received was a purple grey.

Let me start this review off with we have bought multiple pieces of furniture from Furniture Warehouse in the past with no issue there, but I was completely turned off by our most recent experience this past Friday. We walked through the door and were immediately greeted by a sales gentlemen who asked us if we worked with any other sales reps in the past.

Sadly, I must replace my original review after the experience I recently had with FW. After shopping around quite a bit for a new sofa and chair, we found what we wanted at FW. The salesperson we had, Daphne, didn't seem to be quite sure of what was going on most of the time. After making the purchase she told me that I would have a 10% off card upon delivery.

Update: On 7/10/2026: After giving a nice review on the salesperson, we have come to realize that the bedroom set that was delivered to us was roach infected. We have been having roaches in our bedroom which we never had before but ever since we received our bedroom set, we have been getting roaches, and it finally dawned on us that they were coming from the bedroom set even from the headboard. We are now in the process of fumigating the house because of this infected delivery by Furniture warehouse.

Stopped in to buy a new mattress and box spring a sales lady approached us so I cut thru the chase and explained to her I was looking for a cheaper mattress and it all went downhill from there. This lady proceeded to tell my wife that people don't like to visit people that are too cheap to buy nice mattresses. So I finally decided to buy a 499.00 mattress and a 299.00 box springs as I was paying for it she then told me to pick it up in sarasota. That's not happening!

We bought a living room set in July and never used it until we returned to Florida in January. The sofa squeaks when we set on it. The Furniture Warehouse sent a repairman to fix. He added extra support stating that not enough staples were used when it was built. (We are not heavy people) Repairman left and it squeaks worse. Repairman says they don’t replace they only repair.

We just moved to the area and had a lot of furniture to purchase. We shopped around and The Furniture Warehouse had good furniture and reasonable prices. Delivery was great too! Quick and weekend options too.

Love the sales person and the person that delivers. The one problem is how they set it up to be delivered. They gave me date on sales ok. Then got call from sale person saying sorry there was a delay gave me another date okay. Then the date came nothing not a call or furniture. I call the store and the person a phone said the error was put on the manager calander! It was in the computer! How didnt get to the manager calander when it was put on the computer. So my advise call and call the manager calander !!!!

Josh went above and beyond normal customer service. There was a delay in delivery....no fault of the store....Josh called me a few times with updates. He is knowledgeable and great to work with. The store manager, Jessica, is perfect in her position. I hope corporate understands what the have in these two employees.
