The moving guys showed up on time to the job, they did their best considering the weather conditions. There were a few small details that I feel could have been done better, such as prioritizing the big furniture items, which I stressed were my major concern as small items could be collected by myself later. Overall, if I needed to use a moving company again, they would still be an option in the future. For transparency, I have edited this review after speaking to the owner of the company based on prior feedback.

Using Thumbs Up was a great experience. My partner and I moved from a big apartment building to a townhouse which was more coordinating than I wanted us to do alone. Thumbs Up’s prices were really reasonable in the winter, the owner was friendly and thorough in explaining the process, and the movers were no nonsense, they showed up on time and came in and got the job done. You’d think that when it’s an hourly rate there may be some dawdling but that was not the case.

I have used Thumbs Up for 5 moves (houses, apartments, shipping containers) and am about to book them again. I have used them for packing up, as well, but mostly I have handled the bulk of the packing and they helped us with relocation out of one place into another. It has been a different crew each time but equally communicative in planning and arrival, capable and on time. Nice guys who represent the company well. We had one item break in 5 moves and I appreciated how they handled it. Definitely recommend.
