The first time we rented here, we were greeted with a "Yo". I was not happy, but they said they had what we needed. Come to find out, Mr. "Yo", rented me the wrong trailer. The second time we went back, they wouldn't rent us one because they did not take the time to ask important questions about my vehicle and the vehicle we were putting on the trailer. They were rude (everyone we talked to down to the guy who hooked up the trailer). Will never recommend anyone go to this location!!
Will never rent a truck here again! Rented a truck 2 weeks ago with a trailer. Only needed the trailer for 2 hours. They changed me for two days. After taking the trailer back they said I would get a refund for the extra day we'll it took over a week and me having to call many times. We had the truck for two days and when we returned it the lady tried telling us we OWED THEM more money when in fact they owed us money.
Got a email yesterday stating I have a outstanding balance, upon investigation its for a toll. Says toll road was used, when did a toll road get installed between grand junction Colorado and rifle Colorado? If I don't pay it in 7 days it will be 30 +dollars, it has nothing to do with how much it is, it's the principle of it, there is no toll road around for 200 miles from where I rented it at.
Not once have we experienced positive people from this one and we paid a lot of waisted miles! Charged too much because they showed up in anger over a key and having the truck longer. I have rented many many many and have never been hounded and mistreated like this one! I’d never ever recommend and we won’t ever use them again!
If I could score 0 stars I would. The checking the truck out and returning it without a person on site. And the fact that I couldn't even reach anyone on the phone to help me. I was trying to reach the Steamboat Spring person. I finally got someone on the 1-800 number
Rented and paid for a car dollie and the manager came out to hook it up and was very Rude, he slammed it hard onto the car and looked like he was already having a bad morning, he was obviously mad and red in the face! We watched him help …

Rented a 10ft truck and was given a 15. I stupidly assumed I would be charged for a 10ft because that’s what I rented. Nope, charged an extra $10. It’s not even worth my time to try and get it corrected. Oh well…

I had a fantastic experience with the U-Haul team today. I accidentally reserved the wrong equipment online, which they quickly corrected for me. It then turned out my car didn't have the proper hookup for the trailer I needed, and I unfortunately had to cancel the entire order. Despite the hassle, the staff remained incredibly kind and friendly throughout the process. Highly recommend this location for their stellar customer service!

Kelsey and Andy were the best! Was on a cross country trip and had to get my hitch checked. Specifically came by this location for their excellent reviews. They were happy to help and corrected the issue promptly! Would not hesitate to rent from them!
These guys rock! This was my first time renting a car in general and they’ve been incredibly patient, lenient, and supportive all throughout. Heather especially went above and beyond to save me money and hassle. Additionally, the trucks are clean, well maintained, and a genuinely joy to drive. I was sad to give back the keys!
Aaron and Heather are really great and helpful. They walked my wife through the whole process of purchasing moving supplies, reserving a moving truck, and even orienting me to where various driving components are in the vehicle. If you're in Grand Junction, go to this U-Haul location. Both will help you out!
