This U-Haul location is horrible!! I made a reservation yesterday for 7 am today. This morning I had a family emergency and I was running about 2 hours late to my reservation. When I was almost there I checked my U-Haul app and there was no reservation. So confused I called the West Florissant store and they said “we called at 7:15 and it went straight to voicemail” NOBODY CALLED ME. I have no missed calls, no voicemails.
3/27/26 I made a reservation over the phone with U-Haul representative and was quoted $108 due at pickup. After booking, I received a call the morning of pickup from the West Florissant location stating there would also be a $500 deposit, which was never disclosed during the reservation process. Because of that, I chose to change my reservation. However, when I checked the app afterward, my reservation was completely gone with no explanation. This experience was extremely frustrating.
STAY AWAY! They know nothing about these trailers and will waste your time!!!! The staff was friendly, but the first thing I did was asked for them to inspect my car to make sure it was good to tow since Dunn Rd refused. He said yes no problem and had me pay. We go to get the trailer THE POWER DID NOT WORK. He said it was my vehicle and said it is probably a fuse. I asked for help to check the fuses, the manager brought out a fuse tester but she had no idea how to use it.
The recent experience was horrible, my unit was infested with mice and mice droppings. I found 4 dead mice in my unit, and they were in my things. I’m very disappointed and disgusted with the facility as a whole. I’m not able to take the things back in my home is totally disgusted and I’m not sure the mice are not in my belongs. The whole building is infected with mice, roaches, etc.
I stored some things in a locker and went back to remove some things and notice a bunch of roaches. That had to have come from another locker. And I also have Seen mice droppings. I reported it all they say is I'm sorry. And actually just …
Worst overall experience. Within the first year my unit had roaches, in which the staff offered no help or compensation for my soiled storage unit apart from the option of moving all of my things to another unit. Secondly there were …

The whole experience was a pleasant surprise. The gentleman that got me set up in a rental van was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely patient. The van was new and very clean! Drove great! I would definitely come back and refer to this location again!!
