We had terrible experience with them. They came and then cancel our move after 30 minutes and left us miserable. Business owner Kevin is fine but the guys who actually came for moving were very unprofessional. One guy just wasted half an hour in doing some paperwork. Paperwork is supposed to be done outside of this time. I don't want to pay for 2 guys per hour when one guy is just holding pen and paper. He didn't even touch a single box. He told us that they charge extra for mattress because they are bulky.
I didn't want to write this review right after the move because I didn't want the stress of the day to impact my review unfairly. These movers were terrible. They showed up an hour late and not ready to work. When they did start working …
The movers cussed me out over the phone while they still had my things in transit. They damaged my house on move in. Edit: I am confident I am reviewing for the right company. This was a local move.
They will underquote you and get you after. Job that was supposed to be 6 hrs went for 13 hours plus extra changers for gas, travel, extra weight. Make sure you have them come and see the house and tell them to give estimate. Very I pleased with this company.

In their own words
Recently used their service (3 helpers + truck) for a single family home move within the city. They were very effective, fast, careful, punctual, and professional.
All prices were quoted up front, no surprises; everybody was very responsive (both by email in the lead-up to my appointment and via texts from the crew as they were approaching my location). They packed fast and moved quickly. Eugene was communicative throughout the process, making sure he was packing exactly what I needed packed, and checking in after each room to make sure he'd packed everything that was going into storage. I'm planning to hire this company again when I need to move in the future!
My husband and I have moved 17 times (military and living abroad). It is rare to find movers that are this hardworking, efficient and helpful. These are the best movers we have ever had. They work extremely hard, we’re careful with our belongings and did not delay with anything (they deconstructed and rebuilt a bunk bed faster than you can imagine). Nothing was broken, everything was moved carefully and efficiently.

EXCELLENT! My husband and I have moved all over the country and 2 international moves and Uplift Movers were EXCELLENT! We highly recommend them. They were HONEST, FAST, PROFESSIONAL, KIND AND SUPER CAREFUL. Since this move is a very temporary move we will be calling them for the next move. We are glad we found them and if you use them you will be too I am sure.
