We had a big 4 bedroom house moved by them over a course of 3 days, and believe me you don't want to hire them. We had unpacking included in the estimate and that never happened and still we paid more than the estimate. The boxes they packed, they wrote on the boxes what was inside and so many boxes were wrongly labeled. So many boxes landed on the wrong floor, wrong rooms. Multiple things were found in parts in different rooms of the house including half part in outdoor shed and half in bedroom.
I unfortunately did not have the best experience with Varsity Movers. The move itself went mostly OK, but communication with the company has been a huge disappointment. I have damaged hardwood floors and no resolution from Varsity Movers. Scheduling: 3/5 Move Itself: 4/5 Follow-Up/Communication: 1/5 I first went to the Varisty Movers website and filled out the "Request Free Quote" form online. I didn't hear back after a few days, so I called the office.
My sister moved her entire life (her wife is currently deployed) ON HER OWN and the folks working to move her were very rude/impolite. Not impressed with the professional conduct or quality of service offered by this company.
I agree with the other lower rated reviews that this is not what I expected from a 5 star rated moving company. 1. The movers did not put down any protection in my current house or the new house when moving out and moving in the furniture. I had to purchase and put down appropriate layers of protection so they do not damage or soil the carpet.
While the movers were very polite and efficient, they managed to lose a standing lamp and an antique wooden yardstick in my move, which was from one building in an apartment complex to the next. I can see that the yardstick may be easy to …
I honestly do not know how this company has 5 stars. We hired them because the man we spoke to on the phone talked about how much care they take to wrap and pack everything to protect it during the move. The guys who packed us up we fast …

Great experience with Varsity Movers! We contacted them for furniture moving assistance to prepare for a new carpet install. The team of Byron and Jason was fantastic - pleasant, respectful, quick and careful. They made moving our heavy furniture look easy. Thank you!
We recently hired Varsity Movers for our move from Hopkinton to Grafton. Kieran responded to my inquiry almost immediately and we set up a FaceTime call to get a rough inventory of what was being moved. On moving day the team arrived right on time and loaded up everything, they wrapped our big items, disassembled our crib and safely transported everything to the new house. They were super nice to work with and made sure everything was placed where we wanted it when it came off the truck.
Received a detailed estimate quickly from Kieran. Great communication. Guys showed up a little late but not a big deal. Again communication was great. Got me out of my house and into my new apartment with zero issues. Friendly crew! Would use them again.
Varsity movers were wonderful to work with for my move from Milford to Grafton! They were flexible during scheduling for what my schedule would be. They navigated a difficult driveway at pickup and loaded my two bedroom house in under 2 hours. They were prompt at my drop off and got everything unloaded across three floors in just about 2 and half hours on a Saturday morning. They were a pleasure to work with, and in the stress of moving it was so nice to have some consistency!
