It was a hot day and I was not able to babysit the 3 grown men that arrived to move me. It took them 4 and a half hours to move a regular one bedroom apartment. Possibly 40 boxes one bed two dressers and some other household items. There were no appliances except an apartment sized washer. I had called a week prior and they told me a thousand dollars. I didn’t book them but did a week later thinking that would still stand.

It’s taken me 6 months to decide to write this review or not. The move was a dud from the word go. We had hired them once before and so we naturally expected to have the same great level of service. At the time of the first move, we moved from our home to a 6-story building, on the 6th-floor, with 1 elevator. The second move involved moving from that apartment building to a 1-level townhouse with a garage.
I was booked for 11am and they showed up at 5pm I was insulted that I should pay 2 hours of the moving costs in advance with the previous $146 I paid up front because WGM felt I was going to have my goods delivered and not pay what was owing. I will never use or suggest to anyone that they use WGM for anything.

Very sorry we were not able to do enough to rectify the situation. As we have discussed, you were not charged for the time that the guys were waiting in the truck for the appropriate PPE (masks and gloves) unfortunately we were not aware of the condition of the residence before commencing the move.

Let’s talk about moving for a minute and how stressful it is. Jeff, Josh and Jake showed up right when they said they would. A quick walk through of items being moved and these guys got to work. Heavy furniture. The kind of furniture that friends and family suddenly have plans that weekend. If that was me, I’d be cursing and swearing at the person on the other end to lift heavier or higher. Their communication was calm, calculated and swift.
Boys worked hard! These days it's getting harder to find. Fair price when job was done which was great that they aren't trying to milk you. Im definitely going to use them again. Good job.
We are so incredibly happy with We Got Moves! Moving is usually stressful, but Jeff and the team made the whole experience completely effortless. The movers were professional, fast, and highly efficient from start to finish. Plus, their efficiency ended up saving me money compared to previous companies I've hired. Five stars all the way!
