UPDATE: We purchased insurance as we knew we were needing storage for a while once we got to our location. Unfortunately, we were hit with a Category 4 hurricane and most of our belongings were in storage for a lot longer than we had hoped. It appears the storage facility lost power as most of our belongings were damaged due to extreme changes in heating and cooling. This company's insurance provided did not cover anything and we are out almost $7,000 dollars.
Our goal is to provide an excellent moving experience for all our customers. We're very disappointed that you were dissatisfied with your move. It's our understanding that we were not the storage facility. We apologize for any inconvenience or miscommunication that may have occurred.
EXTREMELY DISHONEST. Less than 24 hours before the scheduled move, they email with an "updated" estimate- $400 more dollars than the original estimate. We can assume they aren't pouring over data, crunching numbers. They have no new information since the original walk through of the house. This is a clear case of taking advantage of people in a stressful period. Cancelled our contract with them, and will let everyone know their exploitive tricks.
They moved us yesterday. The movers were excellent but the company was going to charge twice the amount they quoted us. We let them know ahead of time EXACTLY what we had and where we were moving to before hand. We would never use them again😫 I could see if it was 20% higher but twice the amount👎👎👎 …
Damaged beautiful Restoration Hardware expensive items. Lost items. Delivered items covered in grease and dirt. Jammed items together breaking them. Would never recommend them. All they had to do is crate summer home items for shipping. Epic fail.
They contacted to pack up and move my elderly parents. On the day of the move they got there looked around and left making wild and unfounded claims. I think they underbid the job on the video walk through and this was there way to get …

Another super job by everyone at Wherley! Wherley first helped us arrange a move from Arizona in the early 1990s; then in the early 2000s, they received our overseas shipment and eventually delivered 2 container loads to our home and help us move in; and now this month they moved two very special pieces of furniture across the country back to Duluth. As expected, the most recent experience was fantastic. Great communication and job execution by a wonderful group of people.

I used Wherley moving company. It was the best of services I have seen. From the office staff to my movers Steve and Jim who had to load everything down 14 steps. Packing in the truck was like I had never seen. 2 days later my things arrived thankfully no stairs for them. Everything unloaded in record time and placed where I wanted. Not a scratch dent or broken piece. They were awesome. I would highly recommend them and this company to anyone and everyone. Thanks for the move.
