HORRIBLE! Apparently you have to give one star to post. Prior to the day of their arrival you give a detailed inventory, for an estimate & so they’re prepared; however, they were not. They were suppose to arrive between 8-9 AM & arrived at 9:30 AM. All of my inventory did not fit on the 26ft truck. At 3 PM they told me if I rent a Uhaul at my expense, they will move the remainder of my items. Due to time constraints this was not an option.
Kacie, as we had discussed on the phone yesterday, the move took longer than originally anticipated as additional items not previously disclosed were added to the truck until it was completely full. For the misunderstanding and extended as … More
worst movers ever. closed on sundays and don’t deliver my friends things. she has to scrounge around the house to find bedding and they ghosted her mom. it’s the day after her things were suppose to be delivered and she still has had no contact and no things.
Thank you for sharing your concerns. While you were not the customer involved in this move, we understand that you are commenting out of concern for your friend and her family. We’re glad to share that the customer’s belongings were located and delivered on Monday, the next business day, and we…
If I could give zero stars, I would. However, I have used these guys for a previous move and they were excellent. So choosing them a second time seemed like a no brainer, but this time was a totally different experience. In hindsight I wish we would have chosen a different company instead. They were super nice guys, but both were young and obviously inexperienced. They did not wrap a single piece of my furniture or secure it inside the moving truck with straps or bungies.
Devin, we are so sorry to hear that we did not deliver the same excellent service that you experienced during your first move with us. While we do pride ourselves on the great opportunity to provide real-life work experience to young … More
We’ve made several moves, large and small, and our experience with our 2 College Brothers local move was the worst. Wade, who I gather is the owner, did a pre-move inventory and walkthrough, which we hoped meant there would be few issues on moving day. We were wrong. One mover never showed; the truck was too small to fit all our things; they ran out of packing material; and the move took twice as many hours as had been budgeted. Most frustrating of all was the claims management process afterward.
Hi Jessie, we show no record of your name or a similar name in our system. Furthermore, Wade has not given an onsite inventory or walkthrough out of our Gainesville location in over a year. We pride ourselves on tracking the accuracy of … More
My conscience is not allowing me to stay quiet when it comes to dealing with this business please be aware of the small print/ add-on fees, like anytime you want to access your things you have to pay $75 If I were you I would go to craigslist or something and find a couple guys to move your things and go deal with U-Haul.
April, thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify a few important points for accuracy. … More
I used 2 College Brothers in 2016 to move from a 4300 sq ft home. It was a good experience. The 4 man crew was professional. All furniture was wrapped for maximum protection and I was billed $2,000 which was worth it to me. I again used them yesterday to move from a 2100 sq ft rental to my new home. It was a terrible experience. The furniture was poorly wrapped, they took a $2,000 mattress and placed it on the truck lift unwrapped and it got filthy.
Thank you for your feedback Mr. Corales. Our records show the first time you moved, your job lasted a total of 14.25 hours and your total bill was $2430. We honored this amount, even though it was significantly less than our normal rate. … More
I hired 2 College Brothers in April to pack and store the items in my dorm. After 2 months, I was no longer being charged for the items in storage, which I found alarming. For the past 3 weeks I have tried to contact 2 College Brothers to find out where my stuff is, and every time I call, they refuse to answer my questions regarding my belongings and insist they will call me back, which they never do. At this point, I don't know if they even have my stuff anymore, or if they threw it out.
Moving day should be exciting, Ours was not. 2 Brothers provided a truck with holes in the roof and as it would be, it rained. In their haste to protect our property, the crew began tossing 50 plus water soaked boxes into the garage and damaging an antique hutch and antique globe lamp. After several months and several calls, 2 Brothers offered us $600 plus to settle, knowing that they were negligible. What a joke. Please be careful when shopping for a reputable moving company. This one is not.
Mr. Flater, we approved and extended the full amount requested for your claim, with an additional percentage off of your move (even though it was filed very late in accordance with our policy) to which you responded "we want a full refund … More

We moved from a large house in Gainesville to an apartment in Cocoa. We had a 3 man crew that were absolutely wonderful ! They padded/ wrapped all our stuff and took great care of it. When we arrived at the new place they carefully placed everything where we wanted it. All the guys were polite and hard workers. We couldn’t have had a better experience- highly recommend them.
