Village Movers and Storage

This company was the worst experience. Showed up late. An hour late. Were not prepared for the move no tools, little moving supplies. The crew was one young guy with terrible attitude and one older guy that the moving almost killed him. They did not bring a trailer big enough for all my stuff and have to leave a significant amount at my old house. With me helping them and loading my personal truck also. After the trailer is loaded. On the way from Leesburg to Ft. Lauderdale area. I contacted the owner.

I scheduled an appointment with The Villages Movers and Storage to review our furniture and provide a quote. The gentleman confirmed the time, but then abruptly canceled our appointment only 10 minutes before arrival. His explanation was that, because I had originally asked if they were affiliated with another moving company whose owners we know on an acquaintance level, it would be a “conflict of interest." This reasoning was very odd to me.

Moved us to Texas in Sep 25. Worst experience ever with any type business. Every time we unbox, open, or move furniture, we find more of our items damaged. Horrible experience. Terrible crew, habitually late, furniture filthy. Furniture not wrapped, packed on top of other furniture. Moved 3 beds and all were damaged. Multiple glass items broken. Foulest mother driver who insulted my wife along with his girlfriend who he brought along on the trip. If they send you Marquise, run away fast.

Over 4 hours late. Sent a subcontractor. Use at your own risk. A very disappointing experience. In response to your comments. I was suppose to have 2 men. I had 1 men snd his apprentice. The move took an extra hour due to this. My daughter was moving items herself to try to keep things moving. The movers did not damage anything but were inefficient. Packed an item that was not suppose to go and then had to unpack it. Ran over our neighbors sprinkler and tore up a patch of grass in the process.

I had been home invaded and had to move out of my brand new beautiful home . They stole very expensive artwork from me . They always were caught taking my grandmother’s silver out my side door. My bedroom set was very expensive from Italy they broke the marble on my one nightstand. Absolutely beyond horrible experience. My husband was a Recon Marine I cannot believe the owner has the audacity to use his military background for advertising purposes! SHAME ON HIM

I thought Nate and Village Movers and Storage were my night in shining armor. I just moved into my condo January 2022. A tornado remodeled my home on June 23. I had 24 hours to remove anything I salvage. Finding somewhere to do that was hard. Nate sent a crew out the next day and assured me my stuff will be stored in a single climate controlled unit. I also was advised I needed to purchase mattress covers to protect my beds.

Terrible. Trusted them to do it they were supposed to do gave all the guys on a Crew $100 tip.paid $3000 and they didn’t even have to bring the furniture in my house just put it in my garage Once I started opening boxes, I had 6 foot tall or 5 foot tall wardrobe boxes. All they did was took everything in my room and just threw them in the boxes from top to bottom no labeling no type of organization just basically took everything and threw it in the box my five-year-old and myself could’ve done that.

I would not use this company. They broke our bookcase and said they could “fix” it, but it’s made of compressed wood. A broken leg on that type of furniture cannot be repaired no amount of glue or guesswork will change that. Several boxes clearly marked FRAGILE were crushed or broken open. When we raised concerns, we were told, “Anything you pack we cannot insure.” Not an apology. Not accountability for their movers breaking or crushing clearly labeled items just a disclaimer.
