In their own words
Avoid A-1 Movers from Swansea at All Costs! I recently had the misfortune of hiring A-1 Movers from Swansea for my move. The experience was disastrous, and I would not recommend them to anyone. When I booked the move, the owner specifically asked me to provide only a truck, assuring me that they would bring all necessary supplies.
thank you for choosing A-1 Movers

Move date1/13/26 Excellent/stressfree experience! Curtis (owner) on original contact explained how everything worked. You provide the truck, they usually do a lot of business with local Swansea U-Haul. He provides the workers/equipment and you pay an hourly fee. I received a courtesy call the night before reviewing all the details/costs. On the day of move, showed up on time and ready to get to work. Everything was handled with care, covered with blanket and then shrink wrap for extra protection.
thank you for choosing A-1 Movers
Curtis and his team were incredible for us. We moved in 97° temps with 100% humidity and his team worked for 13 hours straight to get it done. He took excellent care of our belongings, checked in with us 24 hours later to make sure all was still great, and even brought 2 guys back with him 3 days after we moved to help wall mount something we couldn’t do without a special ladder. His team was so polite, and his rates were untouchable. Highly recommend for moving services.
I contacted A1 Movers in September of 2025 to inquire about assistance moving furniture and packed boxes out of my daughter’s apartment after graduation in May 2026. Curtis told me approximately when to call back to schedule (a few months in advance) and I did so without an issue. I texted a few days before the loading to verify day and time and he responded affirmatively. They carefully and quickly loaded our U Haul and we were on our way. Thank you to all the movers!
thank you for choosing A-1 Movers you where great and a wonderful pleasure to work with
Won’t use any other company again this crew is top notch. Quick, efficient, neat and careful. They stayed working all day until the job was done - handled moving furniture and boxes between 3 different properties and made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. Curtis and his crew are the best, and they are very reasonably priced for the service. Definitely would give these guys a call for any of your moving needs
thank you very much for the great review and for choosing A-1 Movers it was a pleasure working with you
