Quoted me one price. More than doubled the price WITHOUT NOTICE !! I had less than a one bedroom apartment and it cost me over $7000. Did not deliver when they said, took over a month to deliver when I told them I wanted my stuff. Called me the night before delivery without any notice. Had to call in to work and lost a full days wages.I will NEVER recommend this company. They are sharks. If you don’t care about your money or when you get your stuff, then good luck with this company.

Beware of this company and the sketchy companies they work with. Whatever they tell you over the phone to get your business will not be the end outcome. Our end out come was a broken t.v, hundreds of more dollars, and genuinely rude people to have to deal with.

They deserve 0 star. They were supposed to move us on a date scheduled. They never showed up and never called. When I called I was told there was no update so they don’t know what to tell me. Please don’t waste your time with them. They will disappoint you!

No stars for this company - items which cannot be replaced were lost or damaged and the owner could not care less! I've moved all my adult years and this was the worse move I've ever made because of this companies attitude and incompetence. (The only reason 1 star is there is because I could not post it without hitting on a star)

Bangard tried to rip me off for an additional $4000 but I shut my bank down. And they drove out from Hayward for me to have them. Try to gather me for 4000 more dollars. And I shut my locker and said bye.

Way too expensive The crew was nice but for $400.00 an hour they would be.Read that contract and look for a more reasonable rate. Moved 15 miles into four rooms and cost over $4,500. A big SCAM!!!

The final cost of my move was 2.3 times their estimate. They have been reported to the Consumer Protection Agency here in MA.

Working with Julie and Tom was super easy and took a lot of stress out of our move. Ahead of our move Tom even came out to our house to assess our items and help build the quote. The plan was to move our furniture into a POD, so he helped us work through what would fit and what we needed to sell or donate. We had 2 movers the day of who were absolutely incredible. Very hard working and professional. They helped us pack up the kitchen, carefully wrapped our furniture, and got everything perfectly packed in the POD.

The Vanguard pros did an amazing job moving a huge, 7 foot solid cherry armoire from our garage into our bedroom. They strategized, strapped in, stayed in communication, lifted, hoisted, dipped and tipped and without much fanfare and zero issues - despite a pretty tricky turn and dip - delivered the behemoth unscathed to it's new home in our bedroom! To say these guys were the ultimate well-trained, friendly, polite and confident pros is an understatement!

Alex, Neil and the rest of the crew packed up our entire home seamlessly and professionally. They stored our belongings for 5 nights in multiple trucks and moved everything into the new house on the 6th day. The crew took great pride in making sure everything was put into place as we wanted. The entire crew was thoughtful, friendly and extremely professional.
