A-Star came recommended by several friends and a few musicians we know. We bought a nice (for us) piano and contacted A-Star to handle the move. When I asked A-Star for a terms & conditions sheet I was given an incredulous and rude response over the phone. So was my wife. Based on many positive reviews, we proceeded with A-Star. They eventually sent proof of insurance and a terms & conditions sheet. After a quick read, I found written in all caps on the T&C sheet which is apparently on the back of every receipt.
Hi Tim, Thank you for the review. We have it in email form that we agreed with you that we are responsible to any damage that may happen to the piano during the move. We sent you our certificate of insurance, a copy of our terms, you called our insurance agent, we gave you references, we agreed…

I recently moved from my apartment to a house here in town and realized, after moving the piano in my new place, that I wouldn't be able to move the piano into my office where I wanted it because it was going to require tipping the piano on its side to do so. I emailed A-Star Movers and got a prompt reply answering all my questions thoroughly. They were able to fit me in for later that week even though it was busy moving season, which was a nice surprise because I didn't expect that at all.
What a stellar and ethical company! I called for a quote to move my piano about 40 miles and had the pleasure of speaking with Dylan. Not only was he genuinely friendly and personable, he quoted me an extremely fair price that was so very much appreciated and was also able to complete the job within just a few days. Dylan continuously kept me updated on the timeframe of pickup and delivery so I was able to plan my day accordingly.
I had the pleasure of finding A-Star Movers for helping to move a baby grand piano locally in Northern Colorado! Dylan was extremely easy to communicate with, and he was quick with responding and setting up a date/ time to move. He was able to accommodate moving a piano within only a few days notice, which was much appreciated! Him and his team were punctual and professional. They moved the baby grand piano into my home in absolute pristine condition. Also beyond reasonably priced!!
It was a pleasant interaction right from the start! I was able to get a quote and scheduled from Dana; the fella's who came to do the moving were prompt. Normally I try not to watch because I hate being watched when I'm doing something but I must admit, I was really curious how they were going to get my baby grand moved. They had all the needed tools and coverings to do so. The fella's were really personable, professional and knowledgeable about everything.
