In their own words
Not safe to being moving safes!! The movers did the best they could but ownership and management is disappointing. Please, do yourself the favor and hire a true safe moving company. This company is disorganized and made my 5 minute move a headache. I tried to be as upfront as possible by scheduling a quote to look at my items, the space, etc. They underbid jobs and don’t send enough people causing huge time delays and headache.
I feel like I was taken advantage of during my recent move. When booking, I mentioned to the person providing the quote that the price seemed high for a one-bedroom move only about six miles away. There was also a mandatory insurance fee added, which I questioned. My understanding is that a moving company should already carry its own insurance to safely transport items, so this felt unnecessary. I still agreed, assuming I was paying for quality service.
11/21/22 Move: This was my 3rd time using Skyline and my boyfriend’s 4th or 5th; he hired them for where he works a few times. We kept coming back because the guys are friendly and efficient. The last two times we were done within the time estimate; the guys were so fast, it was incredible. This time was not like that. Things were excessively wrapped; to the point of it being a waste of time, rather than protection for our items and that’s all one guy did.
***UPDATE:*** Upon seeing this review and hearing about our complaints, Skyline called us. They were deeply apologetic about our experience and did their best to make it right. They refunded the second, unapproved charge and discounted our bill further. We appreciate their apology and solution. While we made edits to our review, we still feel it reflects our original experience, so we declined to remove it. ——— My partner and I didn’t want to write this review, as the movers were nice and we had high hopes.
In response to Justin from Skyline Movers - First, the foreman on my move did indeed offer to rent me moving blankets for the storage unit - one time, not three as he expressed. He did not talk to me about the importance of keeping the blankets on the furniture in the storage unit. He did mention renting blankets one time, and honestly one time is enough. What I was not aware of however, is how they would take the blankets off before putting items in a storage unit, which still makes no sense to me.
Jaqueline, I am sorry to hear that your most recent move with Skyline Moving Company was not up to your satisfaction. As a company we always strive to provide the best customer service and take all customer feedback seriously. In response to your 1-star review.
All of the wonderful reviews that I read prior to booking must have been for small apartment moves. It is hard for me to even write about how disappointed we were. If you have moved previously and have a large home, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The glass pieces from our three coffee tables, entertainment center, curio display cases, and china hutch were treated like a piece of junk. They were only stacked between moving blankets and they certainly were not willing to reassemble them.
Oh Linda how we remember your move. Your Son and Daughter-in-law apologized to our crew for how poorly and disrespectful you and your husband were to our guys that they were nothing but respectful and worked so hard on your project.
Moving went fast and everyone was polite. There were scratches and scruffs on walls and doors, but these are somewhat expected when you move. But, I was told that they had experience moving sleep number beds and I believed them. Not so! The beds were left all uneven and one of the hoses was broken. Besides that a heavy object was dropped on the brand new hardwood floor splitting the wood (probably the bed).
Very disturbing review Siria. The reason why this is so disturbing is you left out the facts. I want to clarify to anyone reading this review what really happened. We performed this job in which our customer was happy and satisfied at the end of the job after a final walk through was done.
Unfortunately, we didn't have great experience with Skyline. It all depends on the crew you get. The lead of our group Sean, was very unprofessional and rude. He was hacking and spitting in our driveway which I had to ask him to stop. They didn't load things correctly so they ended up broken. Instead of owning up to that, he blamed me for not doing a walk thru at the beginning and pointing out what needed to be loaded when in fact we did do a walk thru. Our bed was put together wrong and collapsed on us.

In their own words
Update June 2024: I'm only able to leave one review so I've edited my original from Nov 2022. This is our 2nd time hiring Skyline and once again we were very happy with our experience. The initial quote from Cameron was easy and his communication was excellent. Sam, Matt, and Colton arrived on time. Before any work started Sam went through the details and expectations for the day, which we really appreciated.
Skyline Moving Company was extremely professional, supportive, helpful and efficient from the first day Stephen (co-owner) came to give us a bid to the final moving day. They communicated well with us throughout the process. The 4 guys, Tyler C., Mike, Chris and Nathan, that moved us were on time (calling to let us know arrival time) and thorough with setup, covering floors and corners of walls with protective coverings and wrapping pictures and furniture to prevent scratches and dings.
Jody, thank you for the incredibly detailed 5-star review! We’re so glad every part of your experience - from Karissa in the office, to me and Justin onsite, to Tyler, Mike, Chris, and Nathan on move day — exceeded expectations.
I knew going into this move that my largest sectional couch piece was the final boss. Last time I moved it in, the previous movers couldn’t get it through the door… so they brought it in through the balcony. Yes, like a sofa heist. And yes, there’s a floor below my balcony. So when I told Skyline Moving Company about the couch, I braced myself for Round 2: Balcony Fun, except this time I was moving to the top floor of the same building, where the hallways are approximately the width of a shoebox and the layout is…
Jessica, thank you so much for the 5-star review! ⭐️ That sectional really was the final boss — and we’re glad our team was up for the challenge. Moves like that are exactly where experience, teamwork, and a little problem-solving make all the difference.
I cannot say enough good things about this company and especially the team that helped me move: Tim, Matthew, Alex, and Jaylon. From the very first phone call with Andrew to the managers who followed up throughout the process, every single person was professional, organized, communicative, and genuinely kind. My move happened during an incredibly stressful life transition involving selling a home, buying a home, and finalizing a divorce all at the same time, and this crew made one of the hardest weeks of my life…
