Two College Movers

Very nice people. They were respectful and communicated very well throughout the process. Unfortunately they did not do good work. One of moves showed up late and when he did show up I had to continue to keep him on track. He was always looking for someone to stop and talk to. We asked them to take apart our beds and put them back together. This was done so poorly. We are now missing parts to the beds. Since they went over the estimate time you can tell they were cutting corners at the end of the day.

2023 REVIEW: Took their time milking the clock, 10 minutes between trips from the truck, 4 hours to build a bed that takes 1 hour based on previous moves. The guys took a 45 minute lunch break in the clock. Sad to be taken advantage of, they promised to subtract 45 minutes off the total time. Damaged furniture and no care for your belongings. Not the previous experience I’m familiar with.

I had absolutely DESPISED experience with these movers and I would NEVER EVER use them or recommend them again. In summary- Either pay the extra money for a real moving company or just recruit some friends. They are def. not worth the bother. My story- I wasn't needing much only a small apartment- worth of furniture. I had set my appointment without issue 3-4 weeks ahead of time. The day of the move, I just had a sinking feeling because I hadn't received any confirmation.

Al the owner, will help himself to what ever account you put on file. BEWARE!!! I was charged the quote plus the accurate price ..... so an EXTRA $850.00 was pulled from my account They forgot to move a bed mattress which when I told drivers... they didn't give a Damn. So I had to go get it and shove it in my suv. I'm 61 and it was upstairs.... which is why I hired movers. They also let behind 15 boxes I had to carry down steps. Also they left a floor lamp.

Absolutely terrible and I would never recommend Two College Movers to anyone. I'll be concise below, but this was an extremely frustrating experience and could vent for pages. I hired two movers for a two-bedroom apartment. Three people showed up in the truck for some reason, but I was told only two were moving me...fine so far. Within an hour of showing up and moving very slowly, one of the movers started vomiting everywhere.

Pros: On-time, polite, got the job done. Cons: They under-bid by 35%, with an accurate list. We decided to add a piano based on their quote that by adding an extra guy, the move would be done faster and in total it would only cost us $30 extra. The third guy did A LOT of standing around, folding blankets, and in fern wrap very little of the moving. The crew was nice, but seemed pretty green, taking multiple tries to get things through doorways.

Well, my move with these folks was 18 months ago, but they keep asking me to post, so...: The scheduler did not explain the job to the two movers - some packing and hauling, no furniture - from a 1 BR apt. Two guys arrived the first day and stayed only 3 hours because another move had been double-scheduled. Great. This meant they had to come the morning of the second day and I had to vacate by 1 pm, so of course the lessor arrived and complained and an argument ensued while the two movers were at lunch.

We used Two College Movers when we first moved to Fort Collins six years ago, so when it was time to move again, they were my first call. At the start, everything was great, accommodating, helpful, and responsive. On moving day, they showed up on time and were very polite. Unfortunately, the move itself was a mess. I had four movers, but at times three of them were just standing around trying to figure out how to pack the truck. I had them disassemble and box my TVs and take apart two beds.
