Terrible business practices. They don’t answer or return calls. Owner Chris is rude and unprofessional. Chris also lied to third party company stating i harassed him by asking for a phone call to confirm request and needed accommodations. Currently in the process making a formal complaint through Uhaul to review the text due to the lies Chris told. Would strongly advise doing business elsewhere
WRONG COMPANY-Please do not confuse Above and Beyond Moving Company with Above and Beyond Logistics Moving. The owner of our company is not Chris and we do not have a Chris employed. Sorry for your trouble but it was not us. We are also not affiliated with Uhaul or third parties.
I called twice yesterday with no answer. I figured they were busy and to call back today. I cp alled today to ask about availability for next month for just labor. After he said that day wasn’t available I was mid-sentence asking about the following day and he hung up on me. Lost my business.
We apologize you were unable to reach us. Our phones/internet have been giving us issues for several days and dropping calls or going to busy signals. Some calls were directed to voicemail without the phone even ringing. We haven't hung up on anyone purposely in our 23 years of business.
Hidden charges, damaged a bunch of furniture, have yet to receive the claim forms I requested a month ago, filed fraud against them because their business is awful and customer service is even worse!

If I could give less than one star, I would! I talked to Pat several weeks before the move, then emailed three days & two days before the move. Talked to Pat one day before the move, all was good. ON THE MORNING of the move Pat called to tell me he only had ONE worker. One mover showed up but when he called Pat, Pat told him to leave. That left me (I am female and retired) and my 70 year old friend to make the move.
Buyers beware: I wish i read the reviews, I ran into almost every single issue others wrote about in the reviews. I was quoted 4 hours to move down the street from my condo, it ended up taking 10 hours. I packed all my own boxes and taped them up, but they force you to use their own packing supplies which ranged anywhere from $9-28 per piece of furniture or box (we were charged $28/each piece of our sectional).

Pat and his team were absolutely wonderful! They made our move seamless and easy. I could not recommend them enough! We are very grateful for all they did. UPDATE: I scheduled a move with them TWO months in advance. Let them know what floor (4th) the apartment was on when scheduling and everything. For them to only get there the day I HAD to move to tell me that they would need a 3rd person and that they could not do it on the Saturday and that they could come back on Sunday with a third person and offered me a…
This is a repeat customer who was previously very happy with our services. Upon arrival and job inspection the customer departed the job site and left us with her parents. It was actually a 4th floor walkup with a long walk to the apartments going to a second-floor apartment.
Called to get a quote… was greeted by someone who was really condescending and did not want to help. There was no room for conversation and they talked down to me. Honestly saved me so much time though, but thought I’d share my experience! Hoping that it’s not the case for other people. 😁 EDIT - The reply from the business to this review shows/proves exactly what I wrote in this review. They’ve been in this business for so long yet they talk so condescendingly.
I am the owner and all calls are played back. I listened to this call and the person that answered the call was only explaining pricing to the possible customer. The person inquiring about the move tried to inform us on the amount of time it takes and how much it should be because they did not care…
My husband and I hired Above and Beyond Movers to help us move from a 2-story condo in an elevator building to a 2-story condo in a walk-up building. I watched my husband on the phone tell them they need 3 movers at least, and they told him it sounded like a 2-person job. I even made my husband call them back about the large number of boxes/totes we had for them to carry into the new unit. But, they still only sent 2 guys.
The move was scheduled for a Saturday of a holiday weekend for a small morning move to a 3rd story apt. When we arrived we could not get the truck very close to the loading area due to the parade in town.

There are not enough good things to write about Above and Beyond Moving! I had some pretty big items to move (piano, Samsung Smart Fridge, etc) and a very difficult destination to get to. Pat did a walk through and gave me a great price to get my stuff moved on my expected closing date. Of course nothing goes as planned so my date changed and Pat was great about fitting me in to a very busy schedule. Packing up, Pat made sure all of my things were protected and wrapped.
I recently used Above and Beyond Moving Company for my relocation in the Palm Coast area, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. From the initial quote to the final placement of the last box, Patrick and JT went above and beyond (pun intended) to ensure a smooth and stress-free moving experience. The guys arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled all my belongings with exceptional care.
