All My Sons Moving & Storage

I used this moving company twice within a 15-day period for moves to the same house, and on both occasions there was damage to my home. What is even more frustrating is that I have tried to file a claim four different times without success. I even went in person to their Raleigh office seeking assistance, but they were unable or unwilling to help me submit the claim, simply saying there was nothing they could do.

I would not recommend this moving company for anyone. Movers were slow and did not work as a team. One of the movers was sitting on the truck on his phone while the move was taking place and causing delays. They left scratches on doors, chipped furniture, and were not efficient. Please use a different moving company if looking for movers.

-they were supposed to arrive at 9 am and ended up showing up at 1:15pm. Not only they showed up at 1:15 but kept telling me that they would be there at 10, then 10:30, then 12, then 12:45, and finally arrived at 1:15. I could've find someone else and not waste my entire day - movers were extremely slow. It took 6 h to move a studio apartment ( one of the movers mentioned it was his first day, he was very nice though) -Raleigh team had quoted me and in the quote they include a 1h move time estimation.

For a single-family home move, they load your furniture with a $100 deposit, but they will not unload your furniture at the new location until you pay the final bill, which include additional charges you were not expecting. You get on the boat first, then paying a nonnegotiable ticket to get off the boat. During our move, they scratched our wood floors and damaged one cabinet. The damage was found at the new location, they denied they did it first. After all that damage, they offered us only $60 in reimbursement.

Do not hire All My Sons Moving & Storage. They were paid to pack our belongings and the results were shocking: clothing packed in the same box as dirty yard tools, freshly dry-cleaned garments stuffed into regular boxes instead of wardrobe boxes, packing tape applied directly to finished wood furniture, and my grandparents heirloom dining table left on bare concrete with zero padding. Structural damage to -almost every piece of furniture they moved. A bed frame leg was lost entirely, forcing us to buy a new bed.

Called these guys the day before a move because I needed help and they told me they could do it for $188 an hour non minimum time. The “operations” department doesn’t call me back to schedule the move and I call them to be told it’s actually a two hour minimum. They tried to leverage the fact I needed movers quickly to bait and switch which I didn’t appreciate. I told them no thanks and then the next day they texted me offering me a reduced rate because they “had room on their schedule”.

I had a really bad experience with all my sons. The movers were fine. Communication was horrible and there were loads of hidden fees that I would venture to say verged on the dishonest. Sales people said one thing, movers said another, storage said a completely other. I would not recommend. If this is your art (which seems to be incredibly valuable) they unpacked it into my home and then when I called them to let them know they said they’d call back to deal with it and never did.

These good reviews MUST BE FAKE. Go to Yelp. Very unhappy with this experience. Movers should either be fast or cheap. All my sons was slow and expensive. I had a two bedroom apartment to move 12 miles. The entire thing took almost 9 hours …
