We recently used this moving company and had a mixed experience. The movers themselves were friendly, professional, and worked efficiently throughout the move. Unfortunately, several significant issues left us very disappointed overall. One of our small bookshelves went missing during the move. My husband personally watched it being loaded onto the truck, but it never arrived at our new home.

I moved from Austin, TX to Charlotte, NC in May 2024 and I had a TERRIBLE experience with Move and Care. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! We paid for packing, long distance move, and six months of storage while we renovated our house (very expensive). Most of our belongings were extremely DAMAGED upon arrival. There was WATER DAMAGE and MILDEW on several items (even though Move and Care stated that the storage was climate controlled).
Where do I begin! I don’t know if they were acting like they couldn’t understand direction or trying to scam me out of more money. They arrived late and was moving so slow! I did not expect to pay the $700 because they were moving so slow they didn’t get everything. Now I’m noticing I have a crack in my tv stand and scratching on my dressers. Yeah they were nice but out of shape tired men moving was not worth it. I only felt sorry for them but I do not recommend.

Recently used this moving company and had a mixed experience. The movers were friendly, professional, and worked efficiently throughout the move. Unfortunately, there were 3 issues that could have been prevented: 1. they were late by 2 hours, they were supposed to get there between 2-4pm but they showed up at 6pm, they did msg that the movers were running late because of an issue on the morning move 2.
I decided not to hire this company due to poor customer service. I asked Mr. Martin a question for clarification concerning the Pack and Accessories section of the contract. His response was condescending, unnecessary, and rude. I asked due to past experiences getting ripped off. If you want to pay to be disrespected, then definitely choose this company and ask for Robert Martin.

I have used Move and Care for the second time, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. This move was from Fort Mill to Belmont, and Dmitri and his crew did an outstanding job. The entire experience was excellent. They arrived on time, handled everything efficiently and safely, and took great care with all of my furniture and equipment. Everything arrived in perfect condition with no damage. I would highly recommend Move and Care to anyone looking for a reliable and professional moving company.
This is our second time using Move and Care to move - first time within Charlotte and this second time, for an out of state move. The company is always very communicative and responsive. Move and Care are absolutely the best, reliable, efficient, affordable, professional moving company. They were so polite and accommodating. They moved me as scheduled from NC to SC all in 1 truck and 1 day. They were informative in all emails and phone calls. Everything was wrapped up tight. I was completely confident and satisfied with my move. Vlad, Vaho and Matthew are strong workers that moved quickly. You don't need to look anywhere else. Really!

They were very friendly and organized and fast! They made sure to wrap all my furniture, couch, bed and fragile items. They assembled and resembled my bed and made sure to put all furniture pieces where I wanted! They followed up twice making sure everything looked good before leaving! Best moving company I have used in Charlotte and I have moved 5 times using 4 different services! I would hire again!!!
