The rating breakdown
4 of the 40 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Action Self Storage are one or two star.
Worked out from 40 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.

Rude staff, small availability and terrible management. Would not recommand to those searching for a storaging compartment.

WHAT A RIP OFF-- BEWARE! I have used at least 3 other nearby storage units in the past and they pro-rate your first month AND the last month fees. But when I recently moved out of this …
This is a review from prior owners. The property has been under new ownership as of June 2015 and has made great strides in improving the quality of customer service.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
Awesome experience. Really helped us out. Letting us unload. While paper work was being filed. Highly recommend.
Manager is alsome. Very helpful with your needs. Great place to store your stuff. No climate control units.
Reasonable prices but not insulated, only if you plan to have your furniture for a short term for storage.
Most affordable place I could find in the Harlingen/San Benito area. Very easy to rent and return keys.
What Google’s own summary highlights
Google surfaces topics it finds across a business’s reviews. They skew positive across every mover we hold, so treat them as a summary of what this company is praised for rather than a balanced picture.
