idk what these reviews are on cuz my experience with this storage was not so pleasant rude unkind unprofessional employees a literal dead mouse smashed in the hallway AND A MOUSE RAN OUT OF MY BAG THAT I BROUGHT HOME FROM THE FACILITY smells of musty clothing and moth balls probably from the mice infestation hopefully thats the only infestation. the staff is rude the only two times i've gone in. the keypad is constantly broken my pin has to get constantly changed.

I recently was the winning bidder of a storage locker auction and the unit was located at the Wiley Blvd. location. The staff were friendly and at 1st glance the facility appeared to be clean at least in hallways and office area. This however was not the case inside of the unit. The locker's contents were completely covered with mouse droppings and urine. Many of the items were chewed up and there were also mice nests present.

Disappointed with Sudden Rate Increase I’ve had a unit with Affordable Family Storage since April 2025, and initially, I was satisfied with the service and pricing. However, I was recently notified of a rate increase, and I’m incredibly disappointed. There was no prior indication that the price would go up so soon after I signed up — just a few months in.
I currently pay about $145 per month after taxes for a 10x8 unit that is roughly the size of a walk-in closet. When I first rented the unit, the price was around $85. Over the past three years, I have received several rent increase notices. The facility has also changed ownership multiple times, going from Affordable Family Storage to CubeSmart and then back to Affordable Family Storage.

If I could give 0 stars I 100% would ! My belongings were in the storage unit for almost 2 years when I went to move out . There were dog feces, and needles . That’s were not the when I moved into the unit . My box spring’s & mattress were …

We started with a rate of $65 and in 18 months was raised to $119. In that 18 months we saw 5 rate hikes. I called to discuss and they were unwilling to negotiate to keep my business. Go to Extra Storage as they are more accommodating.

Rent went up from $62 to $90 in less than 6 months. Also they can’t even put the correct mailing info, payment info and phone number into their systems.

Extremely friendly staff, clean and well lit building with plenty of security measures. The process of renting the unit was quick. Easy and convenient unloading area steps from the door with large dolly to help you move your items.
