I ordered a desk and bookshelf from Office Depot. And delivery too. A few days ago, a nice lady from Porter Moving Company called me and we set up a delivery date and time window. She assured me that the driver would call me 30 minutes before arriving at my destination. Good, its works for me! I can't spend half a day waiting for a delivery, I have my business but it's not too far - 3.5 miles away. Today I got a call and the driver said that they are 5 minutes from my house.

They failed to inform me of details like how they don’t move TVs, glass items, mirrors, etc. so I was scrambling at the last minute, trying to find friends with vehicles to put these items in. Then I was told they would take down my Sleep Number bed and put it back up at my new home which they did, but they didn’t inflate it and now I am unable to get it to inflate. It was working fine before they moved it.

We couldn’t be happier with the experience we had with Porter Moving! They helped us move my wife’s Grandpa’s player piano, antique phone booth, and several priceless pieces of antique furniture, and they treated every item with incredible care and respect. To make it even more challenging, these pieces had to be moved out of a difficult basement with tight turns and stairs. We had Porter moving come out and move our upright piano from one room to another and then back as we installed new carpeting. The movers were very professional and great communicators as they called before they got here each time and were on time in their scheduled window. I would definitely use them again !

We had a fantastic experience with Jaywin and Lakedrick. All of our furniture was (somewhat amateurishly) spread across two Uhaul storage units, but all they needed was one look and they were already strategizing about how to fit our things in their truck. They worked super efficiently, let us know about any issues with our furniture that they saw right away (a missing wheel on an end table, scratches on a bookcase) and were very personable.
