Devon and Mike did a terrible job. Very unprofessional, unorganized and broke my drawer without packing and securing anything. They threw everything in my storage unit and left a bad musty odor. Do not recommend. I will never used this company again. This is my first time with with a bad experience. Pics to follow.
First off Matt had a bad attitude when asking how many boxes on the phone. Because I could not answer right away he hung up on the phone. (Red flag). They arrived late. (Red flag #2). Matt and Davon did not know how to load the small box …
Move was horrible, they destroyed my furniture and entertainment stand, put holes in my wall and my dining room chair, was asked twice to wrap my furniture and never did. Trying to file a complaint they don’t want to talk over the phone everything is communicated via text, then the movers had the nerve to catch an attitude with me because they destroyed my furniture. If I wanted to damage my furniture I don’t think I would have had to pay a professional to do it I could’ve done that for free.
This is likely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I hired movers 2 weeks ago to move appliances down to the basement from the kitchen. The movers came in with zero equipment, wearing shorts, and they proceeded to scratch all my freshly painted walls in the process. They also did not even finish the job. I filed a claim, for which I have not heard back in 2 weeks. There is no number to call or anyone to talk to other than the sales department. The damage they caused cost $1500 dollars to fix.
I needed some building material moved from garage to basement. Darren, Rob, Lee and Meech came out to do the job. They damaged my light fixture, and, worst of all, scratched my car's paint without telling me. This is not only a problem about competence, but also a big problem with integrity. Also, don't trust the 5 star reviews here. They would push you to leave a 5 star review at the end. In fact, I did too. I am now changing it to 1 star after noticing the damage they did to my car.
Scheduled Affordable Movers to move two vending machines two days in advance and they didn't show. I called customer support and got three different stories. They told me the truck was broken and couldn't do it and that I cancelled the day before. They tried to reschedule for the following day without any kind of discount. Long story short I'm moving them myself don't even bother with Affordable Movers

Affordable Movers did an outstanding job with my move! From start to finish the experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Anthony and Eddy were absolutely amazing — they showed up on time, handled all of my furniture with great care, and worked quickly without cutting any corners. My two guys were amazing. I know I am going to butcher the drivers name Jacari and his partner were so great. I cannot say enough good things about these two. I loved how Jacari babied the truck he drove. That will tell you about the quality of individuals this company hiring. I will hire them again if I ever need a moving company.
